hi, i know this is a few years old now but just wanted to say thanks for this - not including getting jacked up & wheel off i think i had the belt changed in about 2 minutes thanks to watching this video.

Thanks for making and sharing that video. I would have most likely over-torqued that top idler pully bolt and broken the brittle cast bracket, so many thanks for that warning. 16 lb.ft or approx 22 N.m

Great video and Thank you for saving me a lot of time :-) I watched it a twice and did belt, idler and tensioner pulley in about 30 minutes. 10 of those minutes was wasted trying to get the little nut to thread on to the tensioner pulley bolt. I didn't even realize there was a nut until I tried to remount the new pulley. Lucky for me it landed a only a few inches below and was easy to find.

I did indeed, made it a whole lot easier than I had thought it was going to be. Also the over tightening would have happened if not for the vid :)

Probably not going to be able to set the belt on the lowest pulleys without getting access underneath! Guess I'll be buying a jack and stand, it's about time anyways. Thanks for video!

My belt is slightly riding the outer edge of the idler pulley. K20a type r jdm. I think the guy who swapped it was in a rush, back to shop

No risk to your engine pal although I don't think you would be able to drive it far hopefully you would have enough battery charge for it to get you home

Isaac Avalos yea it's all fairly standard across most cars once the belt is slack it's a simple case of threading the belt around the pulleys. just go easy with the tensioner
