Loving the Bronze look. I have similar style Fuel Vector wheels in black also with Ridge Grapplers and a mild 2" Bilstein coilover suspension. I tested the decibels and the Nittos are exactly as quiet as factory tires which is mind boggling considering the tread. I've got 30k miles on em and they've been absolutely terrific. Enjoy!

Nice truck bro ! Love the bronze contrast against that blue ! It makes it just pop ! Digging the long bed too , I think it looks so much better ( proportionate) than the short beds . Great choice of tires . Dam good looking truck ! I think those wheels would great on the Army green as well , getting some ideas here .

@@TRDJon I was surprised to see you went with the SPC’s. Seems like a lot of people are going with the new OME UCA’s with the BP-51’s. I have SPC’s on my 4Runner and the added adjustability helped dial in my caster and get it to stop rubbing on the rear mud flap all while being to oem spec on the alignment!

Love the Taco, you are being smart and doing the body mount chop. I got the 285/70/17 and I am rubbing. I just can't find anyone here in town that can do the chop. Anyways love the Videos Jon keep it up and Merry Christmas bud.

I was going 3/2 toytec boss with uca with 285s. I want no rubbing with not cutting etc.

KDMax Tune & 5.29 gears with the planned additions.

I know it's not a flashy mod, but the regear is worth the $$. Put (Yukon)4.88s on my 4rnr w/ 285/75R17s and it actually is pretty spunky. East Coast Gear Supply was great for me. Truck is looking good

I have nothing negative to say about my Ridge Grapplers. Quiet on the road, decent in the rain(I have not tried these on snow), I am able to only air down to 20 psi due to the weight of my 4Runner(with no problems) and I have not had a problem with any pull from bad tread. I will probably get another set when it is needed.

I am new to the channel but I have a 2021 TRD Sport. Just been reading a lot on some of the suspension offered, but kind of sketched on how some people say the fit does not align? Can you speak on that for the lift you have?

you need to get an alignment after the lift. Most don't get new upper control arms and it makes it harder to align without them

Where did you get the black fender flairs for your Tacoma? Would that fit a 2016 4Runner? Thanks!

Those are stock flares. All trd off roads come with black flares.

Nice truck man, but I’m pretty sure those tires absolutely kill what little torque the tacoma comes with.. I think you’re going to have to re-gear either way, but you might as well get the build done first so you know exactly what you’ll need.

What lift kit is on it I just bought 285/70/17s and I'm putting a 3 inch lift in the front and 2 in the back but I'm worried the tire will rub on the front upper control arm

I was about to purchase vtx wheels but i saw on tacoma forum theres a 30 page hate comments on how vtx copied stealth custom series wheels. When i compare them, they might be right. What are your thoughts?

Chopping & fabricating things on that truck is a no no.. if you would had gone with 3" bodylift & 3" suspension lift with this combination would had gotten nice 6" lift having 33" tires without the rubbing, butchering factory cab mounts & others who chop the main sub frame support is only weakening the framing integrity that comes with host of problems by chopping things..

No one dose body lifts anymore. There's a ugly frame to body gap and readjusting wires and harness is a hassle on new trucks. No benefits of more articulation. I rather put Sturt spacers then a body lift. Most shops here in Texas won't do body lifts there's way better opinions vs a body lift of any kind. There's plenty of videos out here saying body lift are a no no

@@tenskeeze The gap your refering to is not at all an issue being they can be easly hidden with customizing cutting big truck plastic mud guards to fit & fastend into place where no one can even tell, you can even order ones to fit the gaps but I personally like using mud guard plastic material its more stiffer then ones they sell online that are like thin plastic sheeting, gaps are least of worries when I do them they look professional as like factory, the only con about bodylifts is very time consuming you can least expect two days for complete insallation but afterwards when installed will stand out & look way better then just a suspension lift by far, which will accomidate the bigger tires that will not rub based on a 3" bodylift.

Wide body trucks look ridiculous IMO.
