An excellent replacement for the old engine, the Zongshen 155 itself is an evil and powerful engine, but be careful with the start - the kickstarter kicks heavily in the leg and sometimes breaks the secondary shaft of the gearbox or the gears of the clutch basket or the right crankcase cover. I advise you to bring the piston to the top dead center and then start

On my yx160 i run a china knockoff pwk28, 34 pilot,105 main, powerjet half turn open and it is a night and day difference from the stock carb. A pe28 knockoff is a common one that is easier to tune and usually a 34-36 pilot and 110 main works well in the low end as it is a roundslide compared to the pwk which is a flatslide. these carbs require a carb boot which is cheap on amazon or ebay for 15 bucks US currency carbs can be 30-50 us for decent china knockoffs, but nibbi carbs are the best personally for knockoffs as there quality Taiwan made carbs

Hi moto. Hoping you can help me with my stomp z3 160cc. It’s a 2021 model only a month old ;) I can’t find the valve clearance anywhere only videos that are over 7 years old. Have you got a recommendation or know of the tolerances? I do believe it’s the 155z engine. Also I need to fine tune the carb but can’t find any video with the exact one till this video ☝️. I have no experience in carb tuning. But have made some good changes but I can’t get rid of the splutter as I start to pull the throttle. It happens only under load and only for a brief second that the rest of the rev range seems fine. Any ideas? TIA

Hi and thanks for watching and glad you enjoy mate. 0.20 exhaust and 0.15 inlet. They are all the same for 125, 155 and my 190. The carb I'm not that clued up about setting them up but sounds like pilot jet is wrong in my opinion but like I say I'm not that good with them. Hope this helps. There is a fb group called pittty rider uk and they are all very knowledgeable and helpful. I know they would have better answer

@@motomachinezuk8786 Thank you really appreciate the reply. I will have a look into the club you mentioned. At first time checking the clearance’s both could not get 0.05 under the valves. Someone online suggested on a 5 year old thread that they are 0.10 inlet and 0.15 exhaust. So I did that for safe measures. Thought to ask you as you have a lot of experience in a variety of pit bikes from watching a lot of your videos. Keep ripping and keep the content coming mate
