pretty sure that is how it is in every single team game, military unit, corporation, school class, group of friends, etc. Anything done as a group in this world, will have this dynamic going on. Current Active Duty army, serving in the 82nd Airborne Division. Piece of advice, during basic training you might have doubts or hate the experience but trust me once it’s all over and they begin to call you soldier instead of recruit you’ll look back and appreciate the times you had during basic. When you go to you’re next training (for your MOS) AIT, You will begin to fly by everything. Once you get to your unit you will realize the real army isn’t like the training environments at all. Last piece of advise, please please please read your contract, make sure it’s what you want, rest the waters first meaning signing a 3 or 4 year, don’t be like me and sign a 6 year because you may realize it’s not particularly what you had hoped for.

My only advice is, it's just a mind game, every time you wanna give up or think it's too hard, just kick that to the curb and remember why you wanted it in the 1st place. It's mind over matter, if you don't mind it don't matter.

The Corps is a giant brotherhood, it doesnt matter if you suck or if you're the best of the best, everyone is extremely supportive of each other and pushes each other to do more even if the person in question has already mentally given up. You just gotta have the mindset to do what you dont think you can do, and if you cant do it then theres no problem because everyone gets more than one chance. It's the main reason why the Corps will always be the best branch and the one that stands out the most, I have yet to encounter a Marine who isnt supportive of his fellow Marines. Semper Fi!

This team is amazing, so supportive!
I got out of the Marines in 2016 and this video is great, mad respect for you going out there and doing the course, PFT and CFT all in one day, that's insane!!! Shout out to these Marines, these dudes are great and give a perfect glimpse of how marines act and goof around on a daily basis! Good stuff!

That's great, loved to see the comradery in this short video. Even partly loved the environment in the Bundesheer in Austria.
Having completed many CFTs over the years, and having monitored hundreds, I’ve become intimately familiar with the sequence of events during the maneuver under fire and have seen everything that could possibly happen during the event. Thusly, no words can describe how taken aback I was when the grenade “exploded” during the grenade toss. Shit caught me way off guard 😅

all my respects for the young marines, they are like a brotherhood. Great Job overall 4 all of the crew. Greetings from México
Good job Will I really enjoy your content thanks for working hard for your subscribers
I spent over seven years in the USMC. I give you credit for even doing this. Love your vids brother.
Damn those guys were awesome! The encouragement they were giving was actually heartwarming.
Ya gotta love the Corp! Love the encouragement the were giving! Reminded me of my time at Paris Island back in79!
You're a fantastic guy Tyler. Great teacher❤
Silver Bullet = Large Rectal Thermometer used to measure internal body temp in a heat case patient. Corpsman carry them as part of their standard medical gear.
I was a Corpsman, I love Marines! They are so fun. Thank you for doing this, brings back good memories.

This was a joy to watch. It reminded me of my times with the Marines as a Corpsman.
These Marines are AWESOME! Love it!!! Salute from Germany!!!

I'd be disappointed if there's no communal shower footage, Will.

Man I love Will's willingness to get out of his comfort zone. Running the PFT and CFT back-to-back is a feat in itself. That 880-sprint in boots and utes is no joke. Great job showing some of what we do as Marines. Also oh no not the silver bullet Will! Lmao you don't wanna be a heat casualty and find out brother.
Great Job as all Marines know the challenge is not the score it’s the spirit and character you exhibited Semper Fi
The fact that he did all three fitness tests all in one day shows how strong he is physically and mentally. Also, crazyyy bc I’m stationed in San Diego and could’ve witnessed one of the coolest and inspiring KZreadrs out there.
Hey Will. I gotta put this out there-joining the Marines has been a goal of mine for a while now, so I've been trying to get in shape for it but have just been plateauing and falling deeper into the hole. Your dedication to the "one more" mentality in this vid inspired me to get off my ass and go run 3 miles (if you can do it, I can do it I guess) and lo and behold, I whittled down my old PR by 4 minutes! Seeing you suffer gives me strength

Hey bro , marine here. As long as youre not over weight when going to boot camp you will be completely fine. Boot camp breaks you regardless of physical strength. There will always be people faster and stronger just dont give up.

If you go to a Marine recruit station and ask if you could PT with the Poolees they would totally be down for it before even signing up, they also do the IST (Initial Strength Test) I think once a month which is the crunches, pull-ups, ammo can lifts (30 pounds unless they give you the light one for motivation) 1.5 miles. pretty much alot of cardio, start at a school track and get good at 600 yard sprints.

as long as you can do the minimum pft standards, you’re gonna be fine. the drill instructors are gonna make you stronger one way or another, and put out on PT as well.

Can confirm as I showed up as a fat body and still made it through with my sheer want of being the best and becoming a Marine
The best part is to see how the instructors constantly motivates you, while you try to runn yourself to the ground. If there is but one thing to take away from this video, is to ALWAYS belive in your self. You learn most from failure.
A lot of my friends joined the marines. They came back strong af. Got mad respect for them
Will really out here making the best fitness content on KZread, the amount of effort he puts into his videos is insane. All for our viewing pleasure

nahhh that dude vaping while running is DIFFERENT 😭😭😭
This was great! Thank you Marines ❤
dude THANK YOU for this im in tears
You put a ton of your peers to shame on this one. That was a hell of an effort. Also showed a lot of respect for the armed forces. Pretty cool.
Cool to see the Marines support you especially through the final challenge. And the recognition for the back to back to back, insane.
Will, you did an outstanding job! Well done!
Honestly you deserve a shoutout for just leaving in that you straight up didn't do the rope thing. To me it doesn't feel like that big of a deal but I'm not a hardcore bodybuilder and I know in your community that takes real courage
