    That's why you get IR motion sensors first, they also make laser trip wires and the base goes in your house. These are for SHTF or you're in a rural area.

    Don’t forget to get the .22 adapter! Get blanks at your local hardware store! The blanks used in nail guns!

    nail guns don't use bullets there's like a ram shot thing but nailguns use air from compressors or tubes some are battery operated too

    Since you won’t ship the flash-bangs to Hawaii, I have been cutting the 12ga birdshot rounds of all the buckshot and waddings to use as safe blank rounds. I also bought the adapter to fire just the primers also. These work very well and worth every penny! 🤙🏻

    I have the myriad of these. Post 2020s summer of love, i decided to get more than the 2 camping ones i already had. With 308s and 22s in my safe, having the 22 and 308 options ontop of my 12g ones is very welcome.

    I use these with high power 12 ga blanks and Dakota Alert sensors. I don't wimp out on the firepower. I also use the .308 adapter. Best to seal any " boom" you use, from the weather. Tie to the firing pin first by the way.

    Looks like a great alarm system. The thing that stops me from buying them is all the wildlife we have around us. On any given night, we have deer, rabbits, opossum, cats, etc that are in and around our property. I would think that they would regularly set this off.

    Big fan of fifth ops products. The 22 and 308 blanks are newer additions and look like fun but even the primer setup is plenty loud to freak someone 0ut.

    I make my own blanks with a single stage reloader. I size, prime and then hand measure and dump about 20 grains of pyrodex powder, no powder measures w black powder. Static electricity can ignite the powder. Then seat a shotgun wad to provide some resistance to build the pressure. They are loud as heck! Make your ears ring. Perfect for these alarms.

    @thomgizziz any idea where to find that heavier spring? It came with two, neither worked. I tried stretching one to increase its pressure and that didn't work either.

    Get “solar powered drive way motion detectors”. Can place them around perimeter of house when they detect motion they broadcast a signal to a receiver that you have in the house that can be battery powered and it beeps. Can have different beeps for different detectors so you know where the motion is coming from.

    I have a number of these. Pro tip: you can sleeve a 6 inch long heavy wall 1 inch steel pipe over a live round, and it will make a lethal, reusable booby trap.

    Had my outbuilding broken into. Got some Fith Ops 12 gauge alarms rigged to the door. Got flashbangs, pepper spray, and dye rounds awaiting the perp. Created a motion sensor using a 9 volt battery, led, siren, and motion sensor all within a pill bottle.

    I noticed when you tested the Chinese version w zip ties, the devise shifted lower. If you used screws like you did with the USA made option it likely would have fired.. Thx for the review no the less

    If you accidentally place 5 inch long 3/4 inch pipe over a standard shotshell in one of these they can fire projectiles in minecraft. Good luck finding the tripwire alarm after because it gets launched into oblivion....in minecraft. Tethering a steel braided cable to the alarm will make sure you can find it after it shears the screws off the post in minecraft.

    The cool thing about these is you can also put marine flares in them and place them upside down. When someone trips it it will shoot a flare about 120 feet into the sky. You cabn also place a 3/4 pipe over the flare if you want a little bit of extended range to act as a barrel.

    ​@@steveclark.. What do you mean by "shells?" As far as I am aware these only use "Blanks"and Amazon freely ships them to UK addresses so one presumes a firearms licence isnt needed. Theyre blanks after all, and small ones, not real shells.

    Living in the Suburbs I won't deploy mine at this stage of the Psyops but if the grid goes down these go up. You "could" load it and "mount it" backwards" and the shell cannot come out but you cannot easily reload either.... Utilize extreme caution when loading and mounting.

    I’ve owned two of these for years (the older version). I’ve used them in my yard to keep trespassers out. It works great. I just wish the blanks in 12g were priced cheaper like they were pre covid.

    It's only illegal if it's something designed to maim/do harm. This is nothing more than a noise causing device. Now if you put an actual 12g shell in it and aim it at someone's feet and not the ground then yea...illegal.
