A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ KZread. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of KZread I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on KZread won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This KZread channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. So if you like the content make sure you subscribe so you can be apart of the Rome Life Family. (Let's build our own personal Rome's together.)
What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different
This is a reaction video used to educated and give my feedback on the song and artist

Dude, you are just killin’ me! I laughed out loud for about a minute when you asked, “Do they have any other good songs?” I know u r on the road to learning, but it makes me really sad in a way to hear that u don’t know these artists that live in our souls. They are part of the fabric of a wonderful American life. Hopefully, many of these great musicians made a good living over the decades, and fans paid the money - but what they gave us through their artistry is without measure. Go hear the 4 Tops, the Spinners, the O’Jays, Stylistics, Delfonics, Chi-Lites, Foundations and so many more. Have fun!

Some have said this is the perfect love song. Papa Was a Rolling Stone Ball of Confusion The songs from this era were about relationships, not just hooking up. They were created by talented artists. They used real singers who could sometimes dance, not dancers passed off as singers. They were recorded with analog equipment which many believe captures a "live" feeling better than digital. The equipment also used tubes, which can give a much warmer sound than digital. At least to some ears.

Great Motown STAYS great, and always will. More of these cats, yeah, but try Dancing In The Streets, Martha and the Vandellas, same year as My Girl. You HAVE to dance when you hear this material. So much more. Marvin Gaye. Early Stevie Wonder. It goes on and on and on, bro. It was a good time to be a young man- I was 18 when this came out. Oh, yeah, baby.

The Temptations are known as The Emperors of Soul, the group with five lead singers. The ones you are listening to are the Classic Five consisting of David Ruffin-lead, Paul Williams-lead, Eddie Kendricks-lead, Paul Williams-lead and Melvin Franklin-lead. All other groups that came after them started emulating them. If you think they can sing, you need to see them dance. They were he real deal.

Music from so many artists was released steadily for the entire decade it was a non-stop barrage of fantastic talent. With due respect to today's talent (2020) todays' younger artists would do well to relearn and build upon the talent of the 60's.

I was seventeen when this came out. It was immediately a huge hit. We used to dance to their music doing “The Temptation Walk”, a dance that imitated the incredible choreography they performed while singing.

This is pure Motown! And my own kids, when they got to be teenagers, sang along with "My Girl" years and years after it was released.

It is so much fun watching these young people discover these singers who were legendary. Smokey Robinson is another one that is awesome. The Supremes, so many of these old songs were great.

🤩I know, right James!❤💖❤ I Love The Temptations and "My Girl"! Their music was and still is GOLDEN. They hold a special place in my heart because of my parents- who loved their music So much, always playing their albums at home. I have wonderful memories dancing with them to our favorite hits you shld hear - "The Way You Do the Things You Do", "Since I Lost My Baby", Beauty's Only Skin Deep", Get Ready", Just My Imagination", "Papa Was a Rollin Stone", "Ball of Confusion" and SO many more. I still have all my parents vinyl album collection from the 60's &70's - to include many Motown, Temptations, Supremes and Smokey Robinson. 😊🎼
