Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Today I am going over my emergency tool kit including the parts and where to put it in the Fisker Ocean. This is something I put together and does not come with the vehicle.

Matt, thank you for the detailed instructions and demonstration of how you store your emergency kit in an accessible location. Excellent!

I love the way you present the information! You are very clear, precise, and very easy to understand. Wonderful! Still waiting to get my One in Minnesota. Thank you very much!

Thank you very much. This information is very useful. I don't have a hitch but tried to pull on the cover where the hitch goes--will need to wait for my new pry tools 😊

If the cover is removable on cars without a hitch, it may be possible to use velcro and attach a pencil case size zippered bag. And then mount it back to the car.

Great video Matt! Would a small bag or box with those tools fit in the area where the tow hitch would be for those of use not getting the hitch itself?

Now that you mention it, the hitch is supposed to be able to be added later on if desired. Maybe the non-hitch cars also have a removable cover in the bumper area? If so, you could find a way to mount a thicker tool pouch to the inside of it. Maybe using a large adhesive Velcro sheets.

@@MTNRanger That's what I was thinking. I don't see why all of the cars wouldn't have the same access panel. Thanks!

@@Afuche This could possibly work. Maybe a slightly small pouch, but you get the idea: Waterproof zipper pouch: amzn.to/3tWwgMl Velcro 4"x2" adhesive strips: amzn.to/3QjLgev

When we open the hood can we use a stand jump box to get the car going again? Like a Halo Bolt?

Yes you can if the 12V battery isn’t too degraded.

Is the hitch receiver bolted on, or am I going to regret not ordering one for my Ultra?

It’s should be available as an after purchase option. Not sure when. Many people getting the hitch receiver only option didn’t come included from the factory. Fisker still owes it to them. Mine has the tow package with electric which always comes with the receiver.

Love this vehicle but it would be great if they just made a hood that opened normally and threw in a frunk so you didn't have to use special tools to address an engine issue. Would lie to know what the real savings are if the hood opens, but you have to use specially manufactured tools to get to it. Hoping the frunk is coming for the 2025 model year since the trunk is smaller than the Model Y's. Curious if anyone on here who has switched from a Model Y to a Fisker Ocean feels like they're missing any utility? A roll down rear window helps as a useful feature for longer items, so I give them credit there.

When you see my next video, you will see the under hood area. Without a massive redesign, I don't think a frunk will be possible. It's a design decision that many auto makers have to make. Some have frunks, some don't. Regarding cargo space, I plan to do a video on that. Hopefully I'll get a Model Y side-by-side for comparison. It should be interesting to see.

Thanks for the video; however, it's sad the owners need to come up with those tricks because the car is having the 12V problem first, and second, not possible to access the car in any way to grab tools we might have inside... If it happens at home ok, but if it happens when getting out of having dinner in wife in winter... not good. Not matter how good was the dinner, you might end up sleeping in the couch that night 😀 because Fisker doesn't know how to solve this.

Unbelievable, this is why you wait year or 2 and not buy new brands, what's next, fix your own car while we take your $80k of hard earned money,

I totally understand the frustration. However, I had many issues with my early VIN model 3. So I'm used to being a guinea pig. There is a coming OTA update that fixes the 12V battery issue.
