I have used several really good amps in the past but I have to say, this little amp has more value built in than anything I have found for a singer songwriter. The sound is just amazing and the High, mid and low EQ section is not only easy to dial in, but is more than enough to get the sound you desire. The power is more than most would every need in a coffee house or small auditorium. It has a lot of functional abilities by way of back panel and the reverb is second to none. There are higher priced amps out there but this baby does it quick and easily and is very easy to haul around to gigs. I don't post a lot but if this helps someone find just the right amp for them, then I can feel I did not waste my time. Thanks Keith

I got one of these this past spring but I've been underutilizing some of the features. Your video helped me get a better sense of how I might improve my sound out on my next gig. Thanks !

    What happened to the vocals

Our band is a small/no percussion group. We can get cranking pretty good on some nights. 4 vocalists, an acoustic guitar - 2 electric guitars playing through their own amps, and a bass guitar. I have purchased the SA330x with the sub and the expander. We spread out pretty good and have other musicians join us frequently. I'm seriously considering adding another tower. Just the tower, not the sub or expander. Does that make sense? We're used to 2 big JBL's and individual hot spot monitors. What would you think?

This is all new to me so be patient. I am wondering how you would compare this to the Electro Voice Evolve 50. Similarly priced once you add the sub.

bigkahuna114 Hi! We carry both! Please feel free to call us Monday-Friday at 1-877-SOUND-01. We’d be happy to go over them in detail, chat about what your needs are and make a recommendation based on what you’re looking for. We’re all gear nerds here and nothing makes us happier than chatting about toys. :)

I am wondering how to position the Fishman for a duo to use simultaneously as a monitor and not trigger feedback. I am concerned that sound levels could get to high if we have to turn up.

Larry The anti-feedback control works astonishingly well. For a duo, if you place the unit in-between you and slightly behind you, the majority of the volume will go out to the audience, but you'll still be able to hear well enough to monitor yourself. The speakers are staggered, so you'll be able to launch sound in every direction from a central location.

Thanks, but won't the volume be uncomfortably loud for us, especially if we have to raise the volume to reach the back of the room?

Larry Larry It all depends on the venue, the volume and the size of the stage. With a little experimentation though you should be able to find a spot on the stage that is both comfortable for you, and still launches the music out to the audience. We'd be happy to chat with you about your setup/needs further and offer some tips on how to set up and use the SA330X. You can reach us Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5pm EST at 1-877-SOUND-01.

What about using an expensive sdc on acoustic / classical guitar?

It would definitely work. You'd need to be careful about your positioning in relation to the PA system to avoid feedback, but as long as there aren't other loud instruments on stage that would bleed into the mic, you'd be fine.
