Fishing With Punchmaster 2000 Floats

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

Doug Petty is a LEGEND! He is also the maker of these Punchmaster2000 waggler floats. I went fishing with them on a warm summers evening when I filmed this fishing video, this episode of my From The Vault 2024 series.

You're dead right Robbie, Doug IS a legend (as he keeps telling me). Good to see you having success with his Punchmaster float, he does a great job making them, and they are as good as any you could buy anywhere. Have a go with the longer wagglers too, they're the bomb!

Thanks Frank (I think) and Robbie, glad you enjoyed them... it’s my favourite way to fish, by far, and they are pretty to look at too. As you know I don’t sell them, too hard a process for an old boy but if anyone fishing in South Australia comes across captainfrank01 and I fishing, it would be my pleasure to let them have a float of their choice from my tackle box... then I can make some more ha ha😂

I was fishing ferntree gully quarry on Wednesday morning. Caught a trout almost instantly with float and worm. Was also using a few plastics and getting loads of bites. A Chinese man who doesn’t speak any English rocks up, action stops for me. He pulled 8 trout! Kids started rocking up at 10ish am. Absolutely nothing for them. It’s a problem in Melbourne with international people taking whatever they can hook.

I'm glad this video was on tonight because I've been thinking of the school holiday stocking program I wish the VFA could somehow put a two bag limit on the trout if people or kids would like a catch and cook but I'm sure 99 percent of the people have a mind set that they see 400 or 600 trout released mean catch the lot and stack up your freezer for a free feed not oh we have released 400 or 600 for all too enjoy and have a family day out

@@robbiefishing mate this is straight from google it had a photo but it looked nothing like the 1 in the video night mate The eastern long-necked turtle (Chelodina longicollis) is an east Australian species of snake-necked turtle that inhabits a wide variety of water bodies and is an opportunistic feeder. It is a side-necked turtle (Pleurodira), meaning that it bends its head sideways into its shell rather than pulling it directly back.
