Pinfish are awesome baits. Can be tricky to find the right size for your target species. They can get close to bream size and live primarily on the tails of gulp jerk shad.

Just got back from Port Mansfield jeffies....Tarpon were on fire 🔥 last night around 5pmish.....hooked up to 3, and they spit out the 3oz spoon, the same ones amazon sells, I then noticed the treble hooks on them didn’t have any barbs, just a straight hook, so I think that’s why they kept spitting the spoon out in Tarpon fashion! Just to see them jump out the water and belly flop was epic enough...until next trip! Tight Lines Coop!

Coop - I am with you. Live bait and popping corks is a fun change of pace for a bit, but it is a pain in the ass, especially when fishing from smaller craft. Throwing lures is, IMO, just more enjoyable and allows more time in the water. That drone footage is sick!

Every time I see one of ur vids I think..this man's living the dream.

My biggest trout was 28 inches on a popping cork and gulp shrimp fishing from my kayak. I was so pumped that I called everyone in my phone that loves fishing. The girl I was dating at the time didn't understand why I was so excited and out of breathe. She's no longer around but I still take my kayak out lol

Oh man, I just spent the weekend in Corpus! It was awesome! I got there Friday and just got home today Monday. It was so much fun! I fished all my old spots I lived there years ago it was awesome I may go back soon I went to school there and now I want to go back!

Glorious Pandemonium babies who don’t like live bait fishing

Pinfish migrate during the summer. We get them in the lower Chesapeake Bay around Norfolk. A Filipino lady said she ate them where she's from. She loved'em. Carpe Diem! 👍

You can use some garden scissors (shears) to cut the fins on the pinfish and it allows the reds and trout to take them better.
