    Biggest fish of my life was a 44" snook (profile pic) on a live 7" mullet into the mangroves in a Melbourne creek. Big bait equal big fish! Nice vid brother.

    Man Eric can table top that big net. Guess I need to go to his weekend classes for net throwing. I would snook fish some bridges by me. Sometimes when the mullet are there it would sound like someone jumped in the water. I mean a big someone.

    I know where yall boys are. 😂 Fished them waters since I was 7 yrs old. Now on the west coast(tarpon springs) for past 4 years. Miss it over there but I still get back every 4-5 months to fish with my buddies. These guys over here get giddy over a 36" fish. I tell em on the east coast big = pounds...not Inches😂 good job capt.! Use to live next to Lotts. A lot of big fish off my dock there. Subscribed👍

    Don't throw that big sand perch that is some ideal snook bait just make sure you clip the top horn off or at least clip it and break it snuck a hit it and spit it back out cuz they get horned but it is some of the best snook bait around and big old San perch

    Great video. I never knew you could fish with mullet that size. I always used finger mullet. What's the purpose of the green floats? Is it to see when the fish takes the bait? Also, do you fish the mullet in areas where there are no mullet?

  • @justin_menendez

    @justin_menendez

    The float is just so you can keep track of the mullet, sometimes they hit the water and swim 20 feet without you even realizing.

    Hey Justin, I was wondering what pound braid you would use for a 3000 size reel. I have 15 pound braid on it atm. How many pounds of drag would you use going for reds and snook? I’m a bass fisherman and I’m starting to transfer into inshore fishing. What artificial lures would you recommend for reds and snook on the east coast near oak hill?
