Cuz Vinnie! That’s awesome but you need Tim Wells blowgun called the Fish Hawk or at least his darts. They are made exactly for what you were doin. Darts are barbed and have a notch to keep fishing line from sliding off when you shoot. Reel is mounted to blowgun and well as a couple eyes for line to run through. It comes spooled with 30 lb braid. Slockmaster check him out

@@charismakillstv6715 I keep a reserve of cash for bail money. Lol. I’ve never used mine to shoot fish. Where I live we have ditches in WMAs that are 15’ wide and the bullfrogs are nearly impossible to gig so….. I’m improvised.

You probably need a longer dart, the cone is slowing it down when it hits the water.

Say cuz, You need an air compressor to power up. Build your own potato gun. You may have to explore modifying a paint ball gun. People can donate to the Research and development department. Now you are going to have to set up an outdoor aquarium shooting range at home. Back to shooting fish in a barrel.

You should be able to feed the darts in through the mouthpiece end. It will sit snug in the mouthpiece if you push it in just far enough before it falls through. This will allow you to point downward and track your prey without the dart falling out. You can also press the orange cone onto the dart pretty hard to ensure the dart does not pass through your animal with the cone popping off. You can also take the cone off and then very lightly press it onto the dart so it stays connected during flight, but because of the light connection, the cone will pop off and let the dart travel through the animal (best for larger game).

@Usnveteranstacker oh shit, great point lol. It's just how I use the regular blowpipe. I guess you could use a thin rod or something and push the dart all the way from the exiting end into the mouthpiece locking spot, if you wanted to take the extra time before looking for a shot.

Buy ur self some fish hawk darts from slock master ,fish wont come of with those darts

You said at the beginning you had to suck back on it to hold it in.. Bet if you would have HAWK TUAH spit on that thing it would have took out sharks no problem....

I think there is too much surface tension from the water. It is slowing your dart way down.

Hey try some baking soda in a little bowl 🥣 are led with little honey are sugar in cause they can't burp and will go back nest and die it works I promise and want hurt chicken are dogs are cats ok please let know works for you. Great vedioes

I actually just stumbled across his blow gun videos.

blow guns like that are not for deep shots .... they work best when the target is just a few inches below the surface or right on top .... go watch Tim well's videos .... all his targets are really shallow and he uses longer sharper darts ...... you might have to order some of his longer darts !!!!!

THAT ISNT THE WAY TO USE A BLOWGUN LOL THEM DARTS ARE ALIL TO LARGE FOR THE WATER.. TAKE THE FISHING POLE OFF ITS TO HEAVY AND JUST TIE THE STRING TO UR WRIST LIKE A CASTNET... FUN WATCHING..
