a worm blower is for trout fishing. u take the worm and stick the needle into it and it blows air into the worm so when u drop it worm down to the bottom it floats off the bottom. like this so lojo can know what a worm blower is

Captain T-Jack I live in MN and usually take a trip to the Canadian bush to fish lakes where nobody has before but my grandma use to go to the boundary Waters with her parents so we took her to the lake she went to as a kid. It was a small mouth only lake(besides panfish smb was the only big predator fish) you could see thousands of huge small mouths anywhere you went but since of the lodge it was pretty heavily fished and the fish knew that's why people were there. I tried for 2 or 3 days to land one and I couldn't no matter what they would not touch anything artificial or even minnows the lodge wasn't much help and told me I t was slow and no one was having any luck.. Some how I was fishing for blue gill and watched them just go crazy over my night crawlers. I picked up a warm blower and was able to put the worm wherever I wanted in the water column and it was amazing after that. Me and my grandfather actually set the lodges record for small mouth for that month and the best part is everyone would just Pound use wanting to know what we were using and we were honest and told them worms and crawlers but they all thought we were bull shitting them not wanting them to catch anything, but we told them the truth they didn't listen! It was fun watching the guides even getting skunked that week when we were putting over 80 a day in the Boat. Long story short with out that blower we would of only caught probably a third of what we did it completely saved the entire trip.

Yes your correct,. The reason you have to be 16 years of age or older to purchase “ The Worm Blower” is normally it comes with a needle or sharp hollow tube that attaches to the bottle. Your supposed to Pearce the worm with the needle and squeeze the bottle to inject air into the worm... lol and if you fish it right, you can suspend the worm or float it. Lol

That jig is one of my favorites, I normally use StrikeKing bitsy bug jig black/blue and as a trailer I use the Yum Christie Craw black/blue flake I have cought 3 and 4 pounders

Worm blower is similar to something I use to as a kid with my dad. His worm blower was called a syringe. We used it to inflate worms on a floating jig head when drifting crawlers for walleye above bottom in rivers. Caught lots of walleye back in the day this way.

I could use a reel. But I'd like to see a video using pistol grip handle rod. Not easy after using long handle rods

Y’all should have spent more time on that bottom shelf.. there were dollar spinner baits and rattle traps

Worm blowers were made for walleye fishing. Add air to the night crawler and it makes your worm on a walleye spinner rig ride higher. Great videos guys

I got that same wild river backpack. It has plenty of room for all your stuff and it's easy to haul it around.

i use the worm blower for lindy rigging walleyes sometimes. Have also used it for carp and gar

My absolute favorite lure for small creek fishing for pan fish is the wee craw from Rebel (matte tan) that I always find at Walmart. The hooks suck so you have to swap them out but I have caught more fish on that lure than anything else in my life. Most are small (still fun on a kayak float) but I have managed to pull in a 4 lb large mouth with one (which felt like a great white shark on my lightweight setup.)
