Saxons Sea Fishing Club
Saxons Sea Fishing Club was formerly known as the Railway Tavern Sea Fishing Club set up by Dennis Puttick of Hailsham in 2004.
The club meets are usually every two weeks, on a Saturday or Sunday morning in Pevensey Bay, Langney Point or Seaford.
The club is open to new members, and weekend comps makes them ideal for juniors!
seven anglers set out to fish the open competition on Boxing Day, watch the video and see how they got on, it was a busy session with a lot of fish caught, but unfortunately many were undersized, but a lovely window in the weather.

I filmed the over 50s today just editing it now.
a cracking session on the beach some nice fish well done to everyone
It’s a shame the fish are not treated better and put straight back and they moan there’s no fish in the sea 😮

I really don't think there is any reason for not holding catch and release matches these days. Personally, I like to release any fish I catch. I eat fish from the chippy. Lol, but seriously though, Catch and release is the way to go.

@@trevorg2128I don’t even want to eat fish from the chippy. It’s way overpriced and nowhere near as fresh as when you catch it then take it home and cook it yourself.

Absolutely brilliant video even though am still watching it.and am definitely looking at coming to a match in the summer I am 62 and I think this will do me good

Not sure why they are not having catch n release rules in this match. Bit of a shocker in this day and age to be honest. For the next generation of Anglers coming into this sport and watching it is not the way to do it

Lack of fish care is appalling. Why drag undersize fish across the beach then leave them out of the water. Nice video spoilt by lack of consideration for the fish putting money before welfare

Hello Tony.. Nice to meet you on here. I am looking at doing some fishing on the Isle of Wight. What i am looking at is fishing for Great Ormond Street Hospital as a fund raiser. I want to fish each bay on the Island only to leave when i caught one fish at each location. I would wish it to be one hook only. Would you be interested if i set this up with GOSH? We can arrange date to go once i heard from them but would like to look at Easter 23. Maybe your not interested but know someone who Is and can let them know.
