This is the first official video to the series where we are going to be fishing all across New Mexico and Colorado!
On this adventure we went to the Rio Grande Gorge, over 8,000 feet in elevation and over 800 feet down in a canyon, we fished the beautiful Rio Grande River.
I was not expecting the action that we ended up having while catching gorgeous native Rainbow Trout, and I cannot wait to share this video with you!

Come in from the side of the gorge that Taos is on, on highway 522, to be able to get all the way down to the bridge and river like I did!
I was born in raised in Taos, NM I love to fish..

In NM there are 3 different water designations for trout Red Chile. Green chile. X-max chile (1/2 green and 1/2 red) The Rio Grande gorge area is x-mas Chile water. 2 trout any length any legal bait and tackle www.wildlife.state.nm.us/download/fishing/maps/Special-Trout-Waters.pdf
