I finish finals this week for my college. I’m from New Orleans. I’ve heard good things out in Point Aux Chene, Delacroix, and potentially Venice. Everything has been kinda whack since the hurricane. Hope to meet you and maybe fish with you one day! Just subbed about two weeks ago.

Yes very affordable rods, but high quality.

I dident see a Transit saver on your motor and for a eight hour haul its a must .. if you dont have one look into it.

What do you think is your most versatile reel? I want to grab a slammer, but not sure which size to get. I'm in Charleston SC looking to get some reds in the rivers and creeks here but also fish my freshwater lake in my neighborhood for bass and catfish. @justin_menendez @chrisjones720

40-60 lb leader with 30 pound braid main line normally.

Hey Justin! I have a saint croix triumph medium heavy and was wondering what size reel I should get for it? Should I go with a 3000 or go a bit heavier with a 4000-5000? I should mention I am fishing around docks for big redfish

I would say 4,000 but the line weight and capacity as well as the fish you are targeting should be the deciding factor.
