So normally between now and mid July Tarpon start rolling here pretty heavy! Unfortunately this trip was still a little early but I was able to use my back up plan and catch some nice snook!

Combos I used where 2 Penn Battle 3's 2500 on 7' Penn Battle Rods, a Penn Battle 3 DX 3000 on a 7' Fenwick Inshore HMG and a Penn Spinfisher VII 2500 on a 7’ 6” Fenwick Inshore HMG @Fenwickfishing @PENNfishing
I used 10lb power pro on all of my combos
30 lb @SeaguarChannel fluorocarbon
All my soft plastics and weedless hooks were @ZManFishingProducts
My Jig heads were the trout eye by eyestrikefishing

Thank you for the knowledge, just moved up to punta gorda, been trying to lock these fish down, throwing the NLBN 5" lil mulletwith lots of blowups, but no connections. I will definitely be using the tips you gave and give you the results.
Definitely was a beautiful morning and that mulletron looks like it would be good for those larger snook too! 🎣🚣♂️🤙🏻

Yea it was a nice day out there! Just can’t wait for them poon to be rolling. That’s my go to spot when they get there!

Awesome, you launch at Harbour Heights Park? You head up or down the river? Or, across the Peace and in the Shell Creek area? Thanks! I'm not far and been wanting to launch over there for a while

Yes I launch at the boat launch. I go out to the main river then head north! Shell creek is far from there so I’d use a different launch to go there. Thank you for watching!

Depends on temps and rain. Normally they will start showing up late June to early July

I didn’t have any issues when I went but I was quick to get on the water. Only issue I had in the water was horse flies.
