Try Clonakilty in Cork John. It's only across the pond and an excellent place for some great fishing. It helps that It's also a beautiful area. I love the place for the massive bass and pollock I regularly catch there.

I've seen quite a few manatees but it never gets boring. It is sad to see the boat propeller scars a lot of them have. They are such gentle creatures ❤

What great luck with your gopro john. There are some really nice coloured fish out there, I love snorkling on holidays to see the different fish its amazing what you see, I was in mexico 3 years back and swam with an amazing french angel fish. Teamwork got the bara well done.

Poor John, at least the barracuda was caught by a family member, well done Hannah! John, you're lucky to have a wife that loves to fish. I LOVE to fish, but my husband doesn't. I read your comment without looking at the name and i totally expected you to say my wife doesnt like to fish. Really made me chuckle. You really should go fishing again. I did that mistake when i moved from Romania to the UK and i didnt fish for a couple of years and when i started going again the only thing in my mind was: What the fuck was wrong with me to stop going fishing? Please go and enjoy the wonderful thing that fishing is :)

So great to see y'all on our side of the Pond. Best wishes and Happy Easter from coastal south Texas. You might want to check out Port Aransas, TX for a fishing trip. Around here you'd have your choice of fishing our beaches, bays and estuaries and offshore by our oil derricks. We're also great for blue crab catching using traps or just bait tied to a string and a net. Rent a condo on the Island and you'd be set.

We have been trying for a family holiday for 4 years and we finally can now. We had an amazing time. 😊👍🏻

As a Florida resident (Sarasota) I am happy to say that after living here for 40 years I can still call it paradise. I particularly like the Keys. I am so pleased that you and your family had the opportunity to enjoy yourselves in our part of the world. I don't know if you had the chance to do any offshore fishing. Sadly the wind was very very strong the whole time we were in the keys so there was no opportunity to get offshore. But I am coming back. 👍🏻

Really enjoyable video. Took me back to my holidays in Florida as a kid, fishing in the hotel marinas. Catfish, pinfisj, small sharks and a flounder - which the hotel chef had for himself!

Used to live in Manatee County on the gulf. They were very common. They have been brought back from near extinction to healthy numbers once more

Good stuff. I’m from southern Ireland but live in NE Florida now and the fishing is outstanding here. Always a great day when you get to see a manatee. Gentle giants.

Funny story… just been on a family holiday to Cornwall. My 6 year old says: “Dad maybe we’ll see the fish lockers while we’re there!” “Maybe Joe but it’s a big county with lots of people!” Kept an eye out all holiday and was gutted he didn’t spot you guys. This video saved me… “Ahh look Joe you didn’t see them because they’re on holiday in Florida!!!” Hahaha

I have video of me playing with one that came up to me rolled over on her back like a dog and enjoyed me rubbing her belly. Such a gentle giant and truly an amazing animal.

Hello Fishlocker family from Turkey. To harden and tight the shrimps (or any other similar dead bates), you can put them in a big bottle of cola or sugary soda and leave it overnight, then they will be harder and tighter on the hook.

Great video John. I went for a swim in Ft Lauderdale until people were shouting and pointing at the sea . Thinking It was a shark I legged it out and then saw two huge manatees swimming side by side. Decided not to venture back in just to be on the safe side. Stay safe and tight lines Mike.

Nice one Fishlockers! Great to see some different species! Mangrove Snappers are supposed to be good eating if you get one big enough. Manatee are incredible! Someone else I sub to in Florida awoke on his boat one morning to a strange sound - he had left a freshwater shore feed on overnight and a Manatee was lying on it's back, flippers in the air, drinking from the overflow! Nice fishing footage, but more importantly, I hope all four of you had a great vacation! Stay safe & well. 🎣🎣👍👍

I lived in Florida West coast a few years ago. I was often in the water with the manatees , they would amble by. Fantastic fishing

Fantastic experience, to go fishing grounds anew, the unknown aspect of fishing, especially sea fishing, always had me hooked from my earliest days as a rod holder. Fishing in foreign waters, with no idea as to what you might land next, is superb! NGL, your Cornwall fishing is what I love, but seeing you and the family on your travels, enjoying life, after all the hard work you invest in bringing us regular amazing content was satisfying in its own right. Thanks, John, always greatly appreciated mate. 😁

Fantastic, florida keys my fave place in the world, such fantastic fishing and wildlife, we used to stay at a motel in key largo, catch baitfish in the daytime. Then use them at night for the sharks just off the boat dock, awesome memories 😎

Black tip, lemon, nurse and stingrays John, one evening i saw my shark rod line flying out the reel then saw a huge lump of silver breach the water surface glistening in the dock floodlights, created an enormous splash then silence, guessing my ambition fish the tarpon felt the wire leader and let go as the bait was freelined. I will get my prize one day.

Wasn’t expecting a video like this but I’m still intrigued to see you fish over there should be interesting

I have spoken with Hannah about visiting NQ but it’s the length of flights that puts her off.

Great video, it's amazing seeing fish from around the world. Similar tactics working elsewhere within the fishing world. Loved the footage of the snapper. Amazing

Omg l was sooooo excited watching this video.Good afternoon John and Hanna what a fantastic video,hope you get out in a boat for some sea fishing.When l was over there we stayed in a rented bungalow and the water way with posh boats all over the place and like you a Manatee popped up from nowhere 😀 my heart ❤ was pounding away with excitement,and like you said l just wanted to stay right there and fish day or night 😆 Great to see you both having a brilliant holiday ENJOY my friend.All the very best 🌱🌱🌱💕

Fantastic footage. Throughly educational and fun. Extremely jealous, was it seven different species that you both caught ? The manatee with baby in tow must have been incredible . 🥳😳🤭🤯

We lost count of the number of species we had tbh. The manatee were just amazing. 😊💙

Well done Hannah :-D I'm certain you're right, John, about the camera. I watch another channel (BamaBass) who have a couple of ducks in their own house with a GoPro. They're constantly deliberately knocking the camera over.

Love visiting Florida (I've got friends living there) and fishing there! I think Bowfin was my favourite ever, from a roadside in the Everglades, with smallish gators 10 feet away!

I could see why when I saw them in the flesh, massive and very slow.
