Fishing in -5 Degrees!

Ойын-сауық

So Graeme & Mike go on a Fishing Adventure. But this time it's -5 Degrees! We set up camp with the shelter and get a fire going on the firebox stove. Graeme also brings his old Anchor Lamp as this is a social fishing session all about spending some father-son in the outdoors. Hope you like it folks, and get out there fishing!

Yep - Incredible lamps that still hold their own today. My dad would buy parts at car boot sales and put together tilly lamps in his shed. He had dozens at one point! I must admit, though, I went LED a few years back. I bought a Fenix CL30R, an incredible light for camping/fishing. Completely waterproof, it floats, it can charge your phone, has a tripod mount. On a mid-setting, I can do four or five 10 hour fishing trips with a single charge, with power left to spare. Technology has come a long way!

Guys, I love your videos. It adds the real social element, no effects to what fishing really is. Would love to have a beer with you both or get on a carping session at a yateley water with you as thats where i target the big, oldskol carp. Please get in touch if you want me to get you on the guest ticket to target one of the big, yateley carp!

I haven't seen anyone talk about gas and vapour so I will be the know it all and tell you ;) Matter can be in 4 states solid, liquid, gas and plasma. Vapour is a substance in the gas state which by increasing pressure turns into a liquid.

Regarding the fire/burner or heater. why not design a Little bigger one dismantle one so you can put rocks inside the burner at the bottom off it, so the heat will stay longer and keep you warmer. the burner should be coming with a small axe atached to it so you can chop up some driftwood.

Great video Graeme. Anchor lamps are excellent. I had one for years before it rusted away! Could light up the whole beach. I used the thick foil from Pies to baffle the light on one side. It would stop people seeing where I was fishing.... Tight lines
