What a lovely spot to fish. Thanks for taking us with you❤❤❤
Gorgeous spot - how nice that you had such a good day.
My former Border collie Boss was absolutely obsessed with fishing. He loved being in the Kayak so much, that when you’d pull to shore for a break, he’d pee then jump right back in the kayak sit and wait for break to be done. Even a week before he passed I took him ice fishing and really made his day even though he was very I’ll. Couple vids of him fishing on my channel. One Ice fishing and the other a FENWICK preview
Such a beautiful place to fish.
Just watched your 1 year ago "A day in the life of a Sheppard" I'm in love with your dogs. I hope you know how beautiful a life you have created for yourself. The world outside your beautiful space is not a nice place. Did I mention, that I love your dogs. 🥰

I've known & loved 2 dogs of their breed, owned by friends, the most intelligent dogs I have ever met
Oh my, you threw it back. I'd be pan-frying that guy up. Trout is my favorite fish in the whole world. I'm beginning to think that Scotland is the most beautiful and serene place I've ever seen. Enjoy young man.

So glad you took us for fishing. 😊
As a life long fishing woman, fly fishing as an adult, this was a joy to watch. Thank you
Good to see you having some downtime 😊

Lambing can be 24/7. Glad he's some time off
I heard and read of fly-fishing all my youth, but couldn’t find anyone to teach me. I tried it once or twice, and failed spectacularly. It was good to finally see it. And you made it appear so effortless. Thanks also for the shots of the ducks hunting in the reeds. Reminds us that one of the main beauties of fishing is that it makes us sit still and quiet until nature resumes its business around us, allowing us to see things that humans don't usually get to see.

Lovely comment ‘sit still and quiet…’💦🐟🦆🍀
Lovely dogs, best in the world, smart, social, have drive, fast running,
Beautiful place and a lovely trout ❤❤. Thanks Sean..
I grew up on a lake, but we just did Regular fishing. My father did fly fishing, but never taught us. His waiter is used to hang from a rafter in the basement and when I had to go through the basement to go upstairs in the middle of the night they always scared me!
What a nice quiet day! I'm so used to seeing y'all run full throttle, this was so relaxing. Great music, scenery and editing! Keep up the awesome work!🤗❤
Fish on!🎣…..catch & release even better😊

Why? If you need to eat, alright. But causing pain for one's ownfun ... I just cannot understand that.
Nice shot of that strike. Beautiful spot.
There is nothing quite like the sight of a cast line settling onto the water.
Loved loved the video!! So peaceful.
A great escape 🎉
That was lovely. Although I’m a vegetarian I do like a bit of fishing, & it was nice that you returned Trouty back to his original home. 👍🏾Thank you

Thanks for taking us along for the fishing! That was a beauty you showed us!❤❤❤
Sean, what a wonderful video! I love how you observed the speaking softly over the loch, even though there didn’t appear to be anyone else there, and that you caught and released that beautiful rainbow trout. The Ledcrieff Trout Fishery website was impressive in addition to being informative. After seeing all your videos and including this one, I think the British Chamber of Commerce BCC should give you an award! You might otherwise be appointed to high commissioner/ambassador for Scotland. Thank you for taking us along fishing on your day off. You’re the best! 💦🦆🎣🐟🌳

What a great way to take a break! Nice catch and a nice change for a day off! It is beautiful there!
You are a lucky man ..may your days b long
Beautiful scenery mate
Well, good to see you having a bit of "down time" to yourself. Beautiful place kiddo. Looks a lot like some of our high mountain lakes here in N.E. Washington state. My oldest son fly fishes a lot. He looks for what is "hatching" bug wise that the fish might be eating etc. My hubby fishes (we both kayak). He fishes and I have our Border "Patriot" on board with me. She enjoys everything & I enjoy sketching the beauty around us. Usually a fun day for all - 2 kayaks & a wonderful dog. Artwork and a bonus of fish for dinner :) So glad you got to enjoy some quiet time kiddo.
Watching from Ontario Canada. Love all things Scottish and have travelled there. Will be back. Love your videos? Love to you and Stacey!🇨🇦❤️❤️

We used to go to the French River area with Dad. First time was in 1954. I loved it there. We rarely caught a fish. I think Dad liked the tranquility. I would like to go back now we are retired.
Thanks for sharing the great Scottish outdoors with us!
So peaceful. No one around!
Beautiful relaxing video. Thank you!
At first i thought Storm and Echo were gonna travel along with their own poles!! But i guess they would not sit still long enough . A nice restful day for you. Thank you for sharing.
What a beautiful loch, thanks for sharing your day off!
Beautiful country.
Doesn't matter what job you do flyfishing is the best way to clear the mind and freshen the soul.whether you catch or don't.
How fun! Relaxing and nice to get untune with nature...
Looked like a good day of fishing it's nice to have some time off.
Thank you for sharing your peaceful outing. Looks like a beautiful place.
Anything you post is all good with me!! I love seeing everything you have done. Thanks for sharing ❣️
Sean any time fishing is a good time!!
So lovely and relaxing to watch, Sean! "Loch" actually means "Hole" in German, and given the relatedness of the West Germanic languages (Scots, German, English and others), that makes sense. Kind of. A water-filled hole, I guess. But most importantly, that is some stunning nature you have there in Scotland. Thanks for the videos!
What a serene and lovely place. Thanks for taking us along Sean. Love to you all from Vancouver Island BC Canada.❤
I have been enjoying your interesting vedios here in Korea. Always thank you and your smart border collies.
I'm retired and travel the West U.S. with my B.C. (Montana, Idaho and Wyoming) We flyfish almost every day and she loves it. I've trained her to sit still by the stream while I fish an area and after I'm finished I give her to go-ahead and she dives in. It's a good life.
Beautiful loch, and the trout that you caught was gorgeous! I used to live in the eastern part of Montana and there would be lots of fly fishing all over the state during tourist season - I'd see the rod cases coming off the luggage belt at the Billings airport. Lots of guides with their drift boats, and gear/fly shops in all the towns. Never was interested to try fly fishing myself but I loved to watch the people who tied the flies do their work - from the tiniest lures to truly huge! Thanks for the fishing video and sparking all the memories I had from living out west. 😊
Such a peaceful beautiful place. Glad you had a day off.
What a nice change of pace...for all of us. Thank you.
Love watching you fly fish. My dad was a great fly fisherman in his day. You can point to a spot and he could lay that fly so precisely. It was like a dance in the air watching him. Great job Sean!
The scenery was beautiful, loved the catch and release, but I do love rainbow trout.
❤ Scotland definitely is a beautiful Country and you had a lovely relaxed time all by yourself to recharge you batteries 😍. I was sure you were trying to catch your dinner, but I wasn't surprised that you let that fish, who was fighting for it's life, back in the loch 🫶👍❤. Thank you for sharing your day of and the beautiful scenery of Scotland 😊. But I do admit that I mostly enjoy watching you doing your job, together with Kate, Ecco and Storm ❤❤. Thanks for sharing Sean 🤗❤❤
Many years ago I stayed at the Creiff Hydro Hotel. Absolutely beautiful area.
Very enjoyable, Sean-thanks for sharing!
Обожаю смотреть твои видео, Шон. Они успокаивают. Но уже скучаю по твоим невероятным бордер-колли.
My Dad LOVED to fly fish! Thanks for bringing back a memory of my Dad.
Beautiful place Sean! Fly fishing looks so relaxing! Thanks for sharing!
Just stunning scenery. Very peaceful. Looks like you're the only one out. Nice way to relax. Are you keeping any of the fish or just releasing them? Do you need a license or permit to fish in Scotland?
That was kind to put him back. He was a fighter! The little guy has a fat lip but it will make him wiser. Beautiful loch. 🐟🎣😊
Great video Sean😀. Thank you for posting
What a beautiful place, Sean. Thank you.
Fine🎉
I’ve never had the opportunity to get to Scotland so love your videos. I can see another part of the world.
A lovely spot, thank you for sharing it with us.
Beautiful place, so peaceful & serene. Glad you got your fish---I thought you'd be bringing dinner home to Stacy, but it's nice that the fish got to enjoy the rest of his/her day, too!
Wonderful!
Gorgeous video 📹 Thanks for filming 🎥 and sharing 😊

Scotland looks a lot like fishing in the Westcoast of the US, spent a lifetime fly fishing the streams and lakes of the Sierra Nevada's, Coast range and Cascades as well as the Rockies. Mostly Rainbows, Browns, Cutthroats, and Brook trout. Even some salmon and Steelhead. (anadromous Rainbow species) One fly I use when it is slow fishing is a black or brown leech. Usually tied with a bit of lead wire at the head and covered with dubbing (hair) and down of the same color. In many lakes out here, it is a very good fly during mid-day. You want to cast out past the reeds and let it sink pretty deep then start a short slowish striping retrieve, about six to eight inches at a time. Makes it look like a live swimming leech.
Thank you for showing us and sharing your day! That was a feisty little rainbow. Are fishermen allowed to keep any trout or is it catch and release only there? No real matter, though; the important thing is to have a nice day. Take care

According to Ledcrieff Trout Fishery website, only rainbow trout may be killed. All brown, brook & tiger trout must be returned.

Nice catch!

Sean u need go river Shannon in my home town for real fishing n clear waters
I have never understood the "fun" of getting a painful hook in a fish's mouth just to throw it back. If you need to eat it, yes - but for FUN? Blows my mind.
Love the place you live in.i envy you. Few years ago i got a proposal from a known of one of my relatives for marriage who lives in Scotland but things could not work out. But i didn't give if much thought but today after watching the beautiful place greenery you are living, i now regret about it 😂😂but i m sorry to say but i find fishing a cruel thing to do. For men its a time pass fun time but for fish its about their lives and even if you release them but they must have deep wounds in their mouth. And how much pain they will go through because of it till it heals or may be never get better. But it ok thats my opinion and everybody has a right to live his life as he please.😂
Try fryin trout up in bacon grease. Delicious!

Fish jumping all over and none are biting 😂

Thanks for sharing your free time! Congratulations on the big fish. I still don’t understand the whole thing about lochs versus lakes. What are the only two lakes in Scotland?
@jeandixon586

Lakes in Scotland and Ireland are called lochs. Lakes are inland bodies of water, but in Scotland even sea inlets, firths etc are called lochs.
