One bloke I fish with reckons lighter weights allow the fish to push the bait around resulting in more bites. True or not? I don't know. But does seem to work. Just put up with your fishing partners yelling at you for all the tangles!!

I reckon yes ..also you can feel the bites better. But depends on the weather that day, heavy sinkers in deeper water and a good drift.

Hi Dom, I was out there that morning. And in that same area, was looking to see if my boat was in the background at any stage. God, I caught undersized flathead and butterfish - one after the other after the other and repeat. What am I doing wrong!?! 😢
