Fishing for Redfish in the Mosquito Lagoon

Спорт

In this episode of BlacktipH, Josh goes fishing for redfish at the Mosquito Lagoon with Capt. Jamie Glasner, Capt. Alex Hughey and Corey from Tackle Crafters. We started the day sight fishing for redfish on the flats. There were a few fish tailing, but the fish weren't biting. We then moved to a different spot and started fishing with cut bait.

Right out of haulover! I don't have a boat to get to that spot, but I did catch a 47lbs black drum, and 42lbs red just last week there on cracked crab. Fun times! Nothing beats that crazy run of a bull red.

I went fishing there day before yesterday Monday 83 degrees sunshine first fish I caught was a catfish and I got discouraged then I put a little mullet on there and something hit it hard and put it right off quick thought maybe a big trout. Then we started catching Reds caught a couple big ones in the 30s then we caught a couple smaller ones 23 to25 inches but it was fun I had a good time definitely going back next year
