I love all the comments about using a fly fishing setup! I second them. It wasn’t until I caught a 20 pound salmon on my fly rod that I became addicted :)

I caught one bone fish about 15 years ago in Grand Turk. It's amazing how one fish can change you. My heart stayed in the Bahamas that day. I never thought a 4 lb fish could almost spool me in what seamed like just seconds. We had to start the boat and chase it down. One day I'll go back. The only decision to make is will the flight be round trip or one way.

@Blacktiph Haha I love it when Josh caught his second bonefish of the day and he said it was 3-4 pounds. I wish the guide would've corrected him, though he is a guide, and I understand why he wouldn't reveal the fact that it was smaller than 1.5 lbs.

You should late night fish fish from that beach I caught a huge bull shark from the beach, and many jacks, and stingrays.
Josh, you should fish with the Mexican Gulf Fishing Company in Venice. We went this summer and caught 9 giant yellowfins.

Josh Sears it could be hours upon hours, sometimes im sure he goes out gets lucky and finds them fish in a frenzy and gets footage really quick. Depends on the type of fishing and ect ect. Based off the day light in alot of his videos id say 6 hours might be the usual fishing time for him. Not counting the ride out there.

It's a grind. Sometimes it takes hours.
That Bonefish looks a bit like european sweetwater barbel which also fight very hard for the size.
A suggestion to add to the list: more sailfish and Marlin videos!!.... And dolphin (mahi)
