Fishing for Pond Bluegill with Ultra-Light Gear
In this video I get into some ultra-lite pan fishing in a small pond where there is a nice population of bluegill. I used a very light power rod that was a 7'6" and a 1000 size reel spooled with 4lb fluorocarbon.
Thanks so much and I wish you all the best!

You know you're addicted to fishing when you watch it on YT during those days that you can't be on the water.

Should have added that a pond this size, you could wipe out the bream population! Be careful!

If you only have 4lb line that fish is only 1/2 lb . That line won't break till you get 3 - 4 lbs on it

While yes and no when pulling a bluegill straight up out of the water even though he’s only 1/2 lb it adds wait to the line depending how far it is out of the water I had 20lb line went to lift a 5lb cat out of the water up this bridge I was on he swung his tail and just that bit of movement made him break my line so do with that info as you will
