Fishing for Pike and Perch, crazy fight on light tackle!

Had the rare opportunity to get out and do a bit of solo lure fishing from the boat, now the past few weeks had been fantastic with lots of fish caught, so it was just my luck that we get a sudden cold snap when it's my turn to catch them!
That being said it was still a fairly enjoyable session, made the mistake of sticking to the shallows all day, when I heard of other boats doing much better in the deep. Any day out is a good day all the same!

Fly lines are terrible in these temperatures Simon, even the expensive ones.

It was a 1-8g Okuma physic Perch, yea I actually had to shorten the video as it was a 10 min fight!
