Ойын-сауық

Our Ultimate Fishing Bucket List Challenge has brought us to Cape Cod MA! It is DAY 1 at the Cape Cod Canal! We are at On The Water HQ to get some insight on the striped bass migration and for help crossing off our items from our Ultimate Fishing Bucket List! Pretty cool you went to On The Water. Their migration chart is really helpful. Striper fishing is starting to pick up now. They just have to get to your bait before the catfish do. That snagged tog was a nice bonus. I'll take them all day over rockfish. They are delicious.

On the Cape these are typically called Choggies. They not usually found in that part of the canal (I don't think they can't deal with the current) but they are EVERYWHERE on the East End/Sandwich Marina. For most kids around here, their first fish is a choggie. I've never had much luck live lining them but they work pretty well as chunk bait for Bluefish.

I got a Rule for the list. Foul hooks and snags don't count. Unless it's for sturgeon. Also, paddlefish need to be on the list. Some states they are plentiful. If you catch one in PA you could help out some research, but your chances are slim.
