Final update: this little reel is the little engine that could kzread.infoUgkxSlytCJqozTF7EbdP4LWP-HUXf9WRDJ0e . It performed flawlessly and was easy to adjust drag in the moment while I was battling a 35lb bat ray behemoth. Mind you, this reel is spooled with only 25 lb braid and 25 mono topshot. It's paired with the kastking telescopic heavy power rod and the two work well together. This has now earned my respect and confidence when traveling and fishing. If you have ever hooked into large rays and sharks, you know they pull extremely hard and can run forever! This thing clamped down on the fish and was easy to adjust during the fight. It has a nice decently fast retrieve as well. Twice the fish went on mad runs and I was able to gain back line quickly to avoid spooling.

I’m not quiet sure he’s ever caught or seen a 10 pounder how much he talks about it lol it’s like a mythical unicorn 🦄 😂

This man will use a chatterbait as a bottom, mid, & top lure & catch fish. Some of his 2018-2020 vids when he was really on the Chatterbait train would be the place to look. I've only had a bit of luck (but haven't been fishing much). White/yellow Skirt mini w/ a medium white/grey Berkley shad, a Bluegill ate the damn thing. Don't know the pond yet. Caught some flounder & redfish the other day on a blue/black ones using squid. Hook it through the beak, it doesn't come off. Amazing on jigs too, black/blue skirt for those catches. Try finding his solo fishing trips at those years, a lot more explaining the lure, the color, the softbait decision, (Ragetails) etc talking to the camera. Cheers.

Fletch!! You got to add the stinger hook up top on the magdraft. It has increased my hook up ratios tremendously with the magdraft.

Those baits are huge! I never use em and looks like I need to start👍🙂

You should definitely do a live blue gill video. That’s how we used to catch double digit bass when I was a kid. Till we all found out the hard way that you can’t fish with live bait in Idaho! Good ole visit from Fish & Game!
