FISHING BASICS | Beer Battered Fish | SEAFOOD Catch and Cook

I go fishing at a river in Northern Australia with basic fishing tackle, gather my own bait and don't blow the budget catching a feed of fresh fish. It is a simple style of fishing that is enjoyable and productive. Hope you enjoy the walk along the sandflats, catching a few fish and a cook up!

Really do enjoy watching your content, my new favourite channel you don't use two different boats a whole heap of gear and over complicate things and you cook up your catch in the day light un like other channels awesome mate keep it up 👌

I reckon this video takes a lot of us back to when we were younger, only having access to land based spots catching whiting and bream to our hearts content, chucking them on a fire and making memories. Good stuff!

The 25hp Yamaha is definitely a good motor. I have put a fair few hours on mine and it has been brilliant. As you know the weather here this time of the year is as good as it gets. I won’t be bragging though when summer comes around. I’ll be burning my hands on the bare aluminium of the boat and sweeting bullets!😄 Cheers

Just how I like things. Simple, no fuss and getting the job done. Looks like you might have even enjoyed yourself to boot. You will have to bring out the "Return Outdoors Fisherman's Cook book" so we can all have awesome looking cook ups. 📖

I like the idea of the cook book but my repertoire of cuisine is extremely limited. The book would be more of a brochure!😄 If anyone has a few ideas on how I could cook fish and crabs for a bit of variety I’m keen to give them a try. Thanks for your suggestion!👍

Its well worth the effort to get sum Beer into your diet? very healthy tip there HAHAHAHHAA, have you ever caught King George whiting? I reckon that they must be a Bucket list when you look at Winter and summer whiting and scale that up they must be a train to try to stop I wonder if they eat as well as our whiting where is that spot north or south of Townsville, it really looks like a nice little relaxing playground to explore, does it crab or is that somewhere else you go for that? Hey does North Qld get blue swimmers or is that only South East Queensland? Cheers Matey really enjoyed the catch and cook All the Best Garry

Fishing for King George whiting is definitely on my wish list. We do get blue swimmer crabs but not in large numbers like they are found further south. I see a few when walking the sand flats fishing for whiting. I greatly appreciate your support. Take care my friend. Cheers!🍺
