Boy, I know that pier. What I would give to fish there one more time. I live in Wisconsin now with my children. I am from N.C. What I would give to have one more piece of fried flounder. You can not get it here in restaurants.

You need to come to NC again

You need a pier net badly. That way you can just net it at the end of the pier and release it. The biggest we have had it a net was bigger than that and it was on the Skyway pier. About a mile back to the beach so walking it was not an option. Have caught alot in Myrtle beach from Apatche pier.

Next time just cut the line, not worth all of that for a ray. Just trying to look cool is all that was. Easier on you and the ray if you just cut the line.
