Wayne, love the videos. I grew up living in West Street, Watchet in the 80s and all we ever caught off the pier was pouting and (very rarely) the odd cod in the depths of winter. In summer we’d catch dogfish - but nothing else. It’s so weird how things have changed - conger, thornback, bass, smoothound etc - we never ever caught anything like that. Maybe it’s global warming?

Loved the video my babber, nice to see you in my old stomping ground, I went to primary school in Watchet and used to live up by the big hill to the right of the lighthouse. A beautiful area. We used to put long lines down for cod at doniford and St Audries bay. Glad you enjoyed Poland, I went out there in the mid 90's, beautiful old cities and great beer. A real eye opener and no mistake. But the women didn't shave their arm pits. Bizarre

@TheShoreHunter yeah wayne, lost two and a half stone in just under three months, week four was very hard as they said it would be, but staying at fifteen stone now, feel a lot better for it though. 👍👍.

At least you're out fishing. Better than stuck at home. I enjoy chicken chop suey, egg fried rice, sweet and sour sauce. Agree rather expensive these days. But ok to treat yourself once a year. Tight lines.

Biggest thing i've seen landed there is a huge, dead sheep during cod season! Been to Krakow and would say Prague much more beautiful (if you haven't been there). I follow Torquay United - the heartache is real😂

Anything Salt & Chilli from Chinese is always a good shout. In Scotland we have Salt and Chilli Munchie Boxes washed down with some Irn Bru. Doesn't get any better. Another very entertaining video Wayne 😊

In the Bristol Channel, it doesn't matter, but I like to keep it streamlined if that makes sense

Remember it well after we’d been out fishing with Mario the fish 🧲 in Wales, we all went conventional at the Chinese but you obviously knew what you were doing and got the best meal by far🤣

Me and a mate tried there once and it turned into the most crabs attached to both of our baits the record was 17 landed after several fell off ! That was like a football of crabs ....put us off from this spot and never been back ... Best of luck 🤞

Unlucky mate it wasn't the best of days out on the pier that wind was brutal! At least we all gave the crabs a good feeding😂 Hopefully the next trip will make up for it

Hi Wayne, great vid made me and the missus laugh and yes weather is shite. A question, sometimes when using a pennel with the tronix tubing the hook and tubing separate, any ideas what I'm doing wrong.

Make sure you get the right tubing. 1.5m or 2m mate.
