Fisher has had the 10-6 XV2 out for 2 years now. How is it different from the 9-6 XV2?
Жүктеу.....

I had a 7 and 1/2 foot straight blade from the early 2000’s on my 2005 GMC 1500. I really liked the Minute Mount 2 setup cause I’m in a wheelchair and I could hook up the plow myself very easily. I had 10 good years with it and it was still working when I sold the truck. The only issue I had was a couple of solenoids going on it.

Yep..Agreed! I've had one of my 9-6 XV2 since 2012 (can't believe it's been that long). However I don't think I'll move up to the 10-6.. I plow with the extensions on both of XV2's & it works perfectly, for the parking lots I mostly do.. Great video!

Those extensions are great for parking lots. I like how they angle forward a little bit to hold the snow.

Thanks for the vid. Didn’t know about the pivoting!

It sure does help a lot with the frame twist on the plow. I can plow a sidewalk with two tires on the sidewalk and two tires off the sidewalk and the plow will sit perfectly on the sidewalk.

You ever consider the LED intensifire lights. I have the 9'6" and love it. Those lights are a game changer. Expensive but I thought worth the money in a snowstorm.

No, I don't feel the need.

Which one would you put on a new f550? Fisher dealer is telling me the 10.5 is too much weight and will kill the front end?

I would definitely do the 10 and a half

Very clever kit…… no need for tire chains?

Cool videos but you really don't have much experience with plows...they all do that...if they didn't have give they would break quickly...tons of force beating on those points

That's exactly why they made it pivot like that. I've welded together several of the style that are not designed to pivot. Yes, there is some slop in the pins and they will move some but it's not enough.
