So some questions if it's cool!? I would love to dive there and it's very clear water is there a more puplic spot like more people etc.? And did you see any crocs or gators lol rather dive with sharks than them! :D

UrlaubAuswandernMitFitz realistically, its nuch better to snorkel through the river, as its pretty shallow, anywhere between 6 inches and about 8 to 10 feet, although there are spots that are closer to 15-25 foot deep. There is a very deep part called hospital hole, which gets its name from the fish that swim there from the gulf to heal. The hole is about 150 ft. in diameter and about 140 ft deep. Its a popular dive spot, though I'm not sure its as clear as the rest of the river! Also, i have never seen a gator on the river, though I'm sure they venture in at times. No crocodiles though! Those are way down in south florida!

Great videos- plan to visit the area next month- do you know if dogs are allowed on the river? I saw what a great time Lilly had at 3 Sisters, any luck bringing her to Weeki Wachee?

+jennknee10 there is nothing against dogs on the river, however, only service dogs are allowed at the launch point at the mouth of the river. We have thought about putting in at Rogers park and paddling up river with Lily, and floating back down. Thanks so much for watching!

2:30 I was a bit scared that you threw your daughter haha but she seems like a good swimmer ✨ nice video! I suggest cutting shots that take long (just cause some viewers easily get bored) :) keep posting!!

We will be bringing our own kayaks as well. Where did you launch from? Buccaneer Bay? We want to bring our small dog so we want to make sure we launch where the dogs are allowed. Dont think we can from Buccaneer Bay....

Nucl3ar Family we were just there again last week! Unfortunately, if you launch from the mouth, only service dogs are allowed, however, if you drive to the end point (rogers park) there is a place called Kayak shack, very friendly people, and from my understanding, they allow dogs! I would call, just to double check though. Also, the downside is that you have to paddle up river, and then back down, which many people do all the time, so its no big deal! Have fun, and enjoy! The water is beautiful!

OOPS, never mind, I just saw in another reply where you mentioned putting in a Rogers Park and paddling upstream then floating back with your dog....
