Awesome tour of your beautiful tanks. It makes it so much more interesting when the tour is done by the fish keeper them selves because you can point out the personality of each tank and what you appreciate most about each little world you have created. Your tanks are beautifully maintained and really set an example for the hobby.

Wow. I can't believe I just found your channel. Your entire fish room is fantastic! I love all of your tanks, but I absolutely love that native tank of yours. I too have a native tank which I keep a baby blue gill, pumpkinseed sunfish, some bantam sunfish, and some Florida flag fish. I am currently working on their soon to be new 90 gal (the bluegill and pumpkinseed will be out in the pond this summer when they're big enough to not be eaten by the bass and mature sunfish) and my plan is to do an urban ruins with broken down brick buildings and big sewage drainpipe running into a river type of set up. Woah that was a mouthful. It's hard to explain, but I hope gave an OK description. I make miniatures and working dioramas as my other hobby, so I got the idea from that, along with the little creek I got my bluegill from. Anyway, I love your design, and love the very natural environment type of look with the addition of man made items as you would find in water ways. So sorry for the long rambling comment. I love your tanks, and so glad I found your channel. Will be checking out your other videos and definitely subscribing:):) tfs!

Quarantine tanks are cleaned in between treatments and left to dry on rotation. You sir have a tank set up that has just evolved into being set up lol. It happens. People need to realize the difference between quarantine and having a tank set up that could have what ever in it from the last treatment. Cool room

This is a room in a house on slab right? What kind dehumidifier you used? The more humidity you have in the air, the harder the a.c. has to work to change temperature. Hope you paint the wood and walls black I've seen community beta tanks, they were just heavily planted. Nicely done in that kitchen

  • @TrafishAquatics

Thank you, Yes it's a concrete slab but has a shadowed floor above it to level it, I don't run into dehumidifier I made DIY lids that keep humidity down to roughly 25 30%, which is actually lower humidity than it is outside where I live, eventually the tanks will I'll have black backgrounds, I don't plan on painting the stands I prefer the natural wood look. And Yes planted community better tanks do work as long as there's ample room and hiding spaces. 😁

  • @TrafishAquatics

Remove the label and fill the bottle with water and place it in a pot of water on your stove and bring it to a boil then turn the burner off and let the water cool, the heat will sterilize it. Don't run the hot glass under cold water or it will shatter.

Do lots of water changes to keep your water nice and clean, And then you can either add salt 1 tbsp per 3 gal or erythromycin. The clean water by itself should be able to help fix it but you can add either the salt or the medication if you see fungal or bacterial infections starting.

How long have you had them in the tank, I had a bunch of fat heads in with mine and they didn't touch them for about 2 weeks, Once all of those were gone I then tried switching them over to pellets, It took me about two almost three weeks of just trying to pellet feed before they would take anything.

Don't worry too much, it's a complete life change for them, it will take time but they will eventually eat, may take a few weeks but don't worry too much they can go a long time without food. They'll eat when they're hungry.

Not at all They actually share very similar water structures, Angels can go up to 7.8 pH which is well within the range of guppies and both species do well at 7.0. Generally wild caught angelfish are the ones that prefer the lower more acidic pH, as locally bread ones are already born into and adapted to higher pH zones.
