Hey catfish dave. You say you like new scenery's go up to New Town North Dakota. To Four Bears Casino to lake Sacagawea their are so many cat fish their it's catfish heaven. Most those people up there don't like catfish they say they are dirty tasting. Lakes and streams and creeks are absolutely full of giant catfish to the small breeder creeks. It's amazing. Try it sometime. Do it in the summer. Never seen ice fishing for catfish. Maybe something new.

Thanks, appreciate guessiments, like to compare blue sizes and lengths with what I catch in Ohio. About same range. Reservior I fish is stocked with blue. My largest this year was in spring in flats at 36.5 lb 41 in. I mostly drift.

Wore some out off the park benches by the marina and a friend's house on Conkinnon drive. Awesome to say I've fished a spot that a darn legend fishes!!! Keep up the great work. 👍
