Firuze's Secret Is Being Revealed! "WHAT IS THIS TATTOO?"

Sultana Hatice and Ibrahim Pasha has to stay with Nigar's daughter at the palace. Firuze happenst to be surprised while she was sending away from the capital without Suleiman's knowladge. Suleiman and Hurrem start to prepare to go to Manisa to see Prince Mustafa's son.
Sultana Hatice sees Ibrahim's child who he has had with Nigar. She wants Ibrahim to send the child away from the palace. Altough İbrahim accepts the situation and sends the child away, he fall out with her again.
While Hurrem prepares to go to Manisa, she gets stumped by Ibrahim's plot. It seems that it's not that easy to get rid of Firuze. Hurrem gets angry with Ibrahim and gives a deadly order to Rustem Aga.
As Suleiman sets off to Manisa, Ibrahim continues to have meeting with the French ambassadors. He tells things that will put his existence in future during the meeting.
People in palace feel joyful with Suleiman's arrival in Manisa. Mihrimah and Yahya of Taslica gets a chance meet again behind Hurrem's back. Suleiman gets dissapointed as he learns that Mustafa wants to solemnize from someone unexpected.
On the other hand, Rustem Aga realizes a big secret as he follows Hurrem's order. As this secret reveals, it will give everyone a deep shock.
Mustafa and Mehmet, who are at outs because of the throne, take walk in the forest. Something will put Mehmet's life in danger happens to them during their walk.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

I love the speech that Afife gives to Firuze at 14:13! It's so well presented and full of hidden undertones if you consider how Firuze, truly a spy, has been trying to emulate Hürrem's behavior to succeed. It also foreshadows a bit of Suleiman's own speech in the final, fourth season where he points out that, despite knowing Hürrem is not an angel, she's the only one loyal to him above all else.
Can't stand seeing Firuze and the Sultan together

I have watched this twice fully and these short clips and I don’t remember this part with the horse. Lordy I’ll have to watch it a third time!! Lol

Despite actually liking the reveal of Firuze's true nature, the tattoo concept continues to feel like such a deus ex machina way to write her off. It forces the viewer to suspend their disbelief a little too far to accept that Suleiman never recognized it. Maybe it could have been reworked into something else, like a necklace or signet ring? I don't know...

The incredibly stupid tattoo reveal is one of several reasons Furze should have been in season one. Then she could have been revealed as a spy by a full search of the harem after Victoria's failed attempt to kill Suleyman. Have Furze's place as a spy/assassin hidden even from the audience until like the final two or three episodes of that season. When it's revealed she killed Ayse not Victoria like the audience was lead to believe. Give us an actual mystery. After he sends away the Russian concubines we see Suleyman struggle with his desire to be with only Hurrem versus the tradition he was raised with. Have him view Victoria and Furze's treachery as a sign that being monogamous with Hurrem is how he's supposed to live his life.

You have to watch the episodes carefully. In the next episode when Hurrem exposed Firuze in front of Suleyman, she asked him, "You don't know what this tatoo means, right? Otherwise you would exsecute her a long time ago." Suleyman says he saw the tatoo, but he didn't know what is it. Then Hurrem says to him it's the official sign of the Safevit Dinasty. Clearly Suleyman saw this tatoo many time, but he has no clue what it means. Even Hurrem didn't know. If Rustem didn't saw the sign, no one would find out.

@@nikichkaaa This is a show I've watched multiple times by now-there's a reason I call this reveal silly. The Safavid dynasty was one of Suleiman's greatest enemies at the time; certainly the nearest. There's not a chance in heck that he wouldn't have been trained to know things such as their literal coat of arms, which is Firuze's tattoo. It's like an English king at this time not knowing the coat of arms for France or Spain-too unrealistic.
Hurrem, remain graceful, looking like a real Sultana.
