Halifax always seems to put their new vehicles into schools which has been a trend since 2018. When B9TLs 37700 - 37703 arrived they were on schools until Summer 2019 where they got swapped for the ALX 400s and then the Enviro 400s were the same case and BL14 Gemini 2s.
You might want to visit Sheffield soon as TM Travel has some new Enviro200MMCs on loan for a while.

Did 33827 on X5. they did well on the M5 considering, topodyn worked and they held 60mph. Wonder if they do now.

Numerically the higher you go the better they seem to be, ie 33830 appears to climb the best...certainly wouldn't want any of em on M5 in their current state!

Only with FirstGroup can a story like these buses exist. Baring in mind that as 63-plates, they're not long past a decade old. There's 20 year old fleets of Tridents out there that had less homes than these bloody things. FirstGroup must waste so much mileage with transferring buses around

@@EnviroExplorer Except it's the fourth time they've decided on what they're doing with their liveries since 2017. They announced Urban livery for Glasgow in 2017, then it was said to become the scheme across the country, with York following suit eventually. Then they did the Urban 2 scheme in like 2019 (well, 2018 for LeedsCity, right?), where the scheme was turned into full colour changed, but the shapes were still there, and we got lovely local brands like the one in Sheffield, and the Leeds stuff. Then in 2021, they said each sector could CHOSE what scheme from Olympia to current that they wanted. This saw Halifax start painting Urban stuff back into Olympia. Now we have ANOTHER corporate scheme and it's like... Does First like wasting miles and paint?

@@AndMoreCentral Of course. I mean, it's great that we as spotters can rely on FirstGroup to provide livery variety. But surely there has to be a concerning damage to their finances with all these changes?
