I love this!! Can you do a video like "A Day in Kindergarten" where you walk us through a day and what exactly you do in order? As an ECE student, I find your videos so helpful!

I want to say this in the most respectful way possible. You act like a Kindergartener. And, there is nothing wrong with that! It's just great... Your calm and gentle voice, the way you move from one activity or idea to another, the way you take in your environment and react, the way you verbally examine, your level of energy, your level excitement for activities, your hastiness in saying no and moving forward, the way that you slow down to think out loud to move forward. I'm sure that you are a wonderful teacher. Thank you for all that you do!

We have an open house, a day where students come half of the day (about 3 hrs) that is on a friday, and the following Monday is their first full day. What should I do during the half day? I was thinking of doing routines and procedures that we do on a full day and just going over those or should I only focus on what they only do in the morning during a regular schedule instead?

Fellow Kindergarten teacher here who just found your channel and I live it < typo, (I meant love it) but 'live it' is also accurate so I will leave it. Just curious... what do you have the kids do when they first arrive on the first 3 days? Just sit on the carpet and talk until you are ready to begin... I mean as the families stagger in and you have them say goodbye and keep their backpacks on so you can do a whole group lesson on the unpack- there is sure to be a time difference between when the first child arrived until when the last child comes in- so where do you have the children congregate and what are they doing to keep occupied as you usher in the other students?
