I've yet to see a Velocity Red that's had paint that matches the original body. My 3 MPS had the bumpers done via trade at some point and it bugs the heck outta me. I did read somewhere that Mazda slowly altered the paint over the years, so there was more gold fleck in the early years and the red was stronger as it went on, how true that is I don't know. Could also be the original red had faded due to the sun exposure, and that's a reason the fresh coats don't match maybe? Either way, being a tri-stage paint it'd take a good eye and some spray out cards to get a good match I think unfortunately. It's such a lovely red though. Certain lights it just flashes sunburst and at night just plain claret red. Loved watching the vid, so therapeutic. Got a week off and plan to give mine a good bit of TLC and a polish, so got me in the mood! 😃

He bought another end of last year and already selling/sold it. As much as he believes he loves them, he always moves on to something else… part and parcel of the job I guess, he spent even hardly get to drive O Phil
