Being on a pageant doesn’t require you such as things like that as long as you’re a woman not even biologically but you are celebrating your femininity then you can embody to join such as these pageants :)

I'd be all four drag shows and if they did a Miss universe pageant or any pageant whatever you called it That was all just drag I probably love to watch it because admittedly some of these men do their makeup and their outfits and things beyond imagination It's incredible but why don't they all get together and do just that It wouldn't surprise me if it garnered far more attention and earn more money then the pageants that they're trying to enter now They probably take it from us by creating their own but they don't They infiltrate our own because we can't have anything that belongs to just us but that's human nature

I was against with the idea that Angela (Miss Spain) would compete in the Miss Universe pageant. But after seeing this tribute I had a change of heart. At the end of the day guys, she just want to compete. She identify as a woman. Her country and government sees her as a woman. She had to compete and prove herself to everyone back in her country that she is the best representative of her country to compete in the Miss Universe pageant that year. She had the most slightest chance of winning in her home pageant but she conquered it all. Let's be happy for her. Afterall she just want to join and show everyone how beautiful she is inside and out.

She is a woman. She identifies a woman and thus, can compete. Besides, other than the fact the competition approved of it, It's not like she's JUST there because they 'allowed' it. She competed her way to get to stand on that stage. What's in her clothes should not act as a reason why she can't identify as a woman :) I mean, just cause a frog can't jump it doesn't make it any less like a frog, right? Tamikka ended at hospital with a broken skull and a brain seizure... trans should have their own events and divisions, period. And sorry if this offends someone, but facts are facts.

Sorry Monica but it was actually Trump that overruled the rejection of transwomen from competing in Miss Universe. You have to understand that each country has their own rules for the competition. I very seriously doubt that if you were to compete as a transwoman, that you would be ok with a man that merely "identifies" as a woman to compete along side you. I am also trans and know I wouldn't want that. You wouldn't want drag queens or crossdressers competing would you? I can assure you genetic women wouldn't and do not. So as much as you dislike Trump, you have to give credit where it is due and realize that he's not the transphobe you have been lead to believe.

Whoever added the translation to the video did it incorrectly in one of her most important statements: She said "to erradicate tolerance" and not "to erradicate intolerance". I absolutely agree with you. Thinking of how much a lil cute boy suffered really hurt me, hearing those words were so emotional for me. So much happened in MU 2018. Not only Nepal, but same goes for Vietnam, it's their first top10 and top5, and highest placing ever in MU history. And we had so many other professions among the girls, lawyers, doctors, engineer and moree. And the Top3 were indeed the strongest top3 we'll ever see. 2018 was just awesomeeeeeee.

A divorced, single mother or married woman i think should be no problem, but pregnant women be in such big competitions...would need to think it more. Coz those contestants would be tied with very strict and packed schedules, rehearsals and stuff, safety would be an issue actually. We only see them on the camera and on stage, but trust me, at the backstage and behind camera, it is totally hectic as hell, they need to be fit, running etc.

1. A pregnant woman shouldnt be participating in any competition. 2. Alot of the contestents are already married. 3. Would never happen. No intelligent man would divorce a woman competent enough to be a participant in Miss U. Thank you, next.

Beautiful face and eloquence but she didn't have the body and the voice is distracting. She prepared just fine for the performance. Styling I think made her look a bit old. She didn't win Miss Spain deservedly. They crowned her for publicity. If she was the one to beat, she would have produced high results in Miss Universe.

Miss Universe organization is an advocate for Women empowerment. Trans women are women. Miss Universe never said that it's only for natural born women. If Miss Universe is only for natural born women, then they won't let Miss Spain compete.

Trans women are women, what's so unfair about Angela participating?

The voice can't be helped but finding a beautiful transgender woman is not very difficult. I hope that such women will compete in pageants to get the chance to represent their country in Miss Universe. Angela didn't have the physical beauty, body or walk but I was impressed with her styling throughout Miss Universe. She looked gorgeous in stills, a lot more beautiful than she really is.

This is unfair. I thought this is for Miss not for trans. This is mis confusion. The transgender should not allow join Miss Universe competition among women born woman. He or she (I am also confused how to call them) should go to Miss transgender.
