@@savagestash4354 yeah after alot of use since i got it, I can say i dont get any battery anxiety with a 5AH+ battery. easily getting a couple of hours out of it. ive used it poolside, sporting events, general outdoor use. Never really worried about it dying on me. always carried a spare battery when away from home for the just in case, but never needed to switch it out for the 2, 3 maybe 4 hours we're out doing whatever. level 3 and 4 are comfortable depending on how far away you have it. 5 is noisy so only really used it for halftime to help team cool off faster. I'm a huge Ego fan and have many of their tools but I don't understand the reasoning behind why they put out a fan (and a light) when there are so many lawn tools they could have come out with that their competition already has. If I need a fan for camping or a power outage I'll use my ego power station and plug in a fan I already have. Next year maybe a should expect an Ego blender and not a lawn dethatcher or pressure washer. Great video but I don't understand where Ego is going with this. It's definitely not on my Ego wish list.

The fan is being marketed to people going camping, sporting events with the kids, working on yard projects, patio parties and all have this one major feature... its portable without running 8 miles of cords and it is a mister to cool you off on hot days. My home currently has no outdoor electrical sockets and being the stucco siding it is and the age of it id rather not mess with it at all. So for all the above reasons plus my own, it has a rather large market. Last summer at the local fair someone was pulling this around in a cart watching their kids go on rides. It was 94 degrees out but felt like the mid 70s within the misting range. All that being said, there is a beware situation about the backplate of the mister being faulty/bad design. I think personally easily repairable as a DIY plastic weld.

@@Kitearmy They get continuously less effective as humidity rises. At 80% humidity, they can achieve around a 10° temperature drop. But these tend to be commercial units with well-designed and maintained misters. Once the droplet size exceeds something like 10 microns, the droplets no longer undergo flash evaporation. But you are right, when it's 95° out, 85° feels much better. Oh, and inside they can be a problem as they WILL increase humidity, and thus biological growth can also increase leading to potentially unhealthy situations.

Wow! These EGO products look really cool! I mean really bitchen! Almost like they're too good to be true... and you know what they say about things that are too good to be true. I kid. They do however appear to be constructed of 100% plastic. Or I mean they appear to be of 100% plastic construction. But so is the competition. EGO looks like beefier plastic. That's good. But I worry this brand is only playing to my ego. Do I win a prize if that is the 1,000th time you've heard that joke?
