Yeah it's way different in the Walking Dead, since you can turn to a zombie just by dying, without getting bitten. It also takes longer to turn, because the bite gives you fever and you'll die from it.

In the book the zombies are slow. The war lasts for nearly a decade. And the story is told after a decade of human victory through interviews and newspaper clips. The virus had various outbreaks throughout history even in the BC era but they were small in scale. You should read it

The book World War Z imo is one of the best books ever written. It's in interview-style, each chapter being a different person who's survived the big apocalypse
You notice there's never little kid zombies, as if the zombies know not to bite anyone under 18
The reason why I love this zombie movie is there is actually a plot. It's not just about surviving. Brad is smart and learns about the zombies and we have a resolution at the end. My favorite zombie movie for sure 😊
I didn’t even notice the homeless man in philly they were ignoring, that’s a crazy obvious clue they slipped in right at the start went completely over my head. Such an underrated movie

It's from a book, but the book has absolutly nothing to do with the movie. Gerry Lane is an investigator tho.. And the guy in Israel I guess... The book is really really good, so unique and close to the reality. When you read it, you feel like it could actually happen.( Even if the Zombies are very slow). You go through the patient Zero, the world trying to prepare, everything going to hell, humanity losing the war, then trying to survive and then they fight back, It's amazing.

It is. And the movie, on its own, is great too. But the disconnect between the book and the movie is jarring for anyone who's read the book
I saw tbis at the midnight premiere. That theater was SILENT from fright at how crazy these zombies were. Only Dawn of the Dead 2004 and 28 Days later had them making people shook. (And yes i know theyre not actually zombies in 28 Days later, but its classified as a Zombie movie)
I grew up on zombie movies and shows, I know a lot of people weren’t happy with this because of the book but I really liked the movie and have rewatched it multiple times!!! 😊
you should definitely watch 28 days later and 28 weeks later if you havent already, two great zombie movies.

one thing I love about this movie is how some of the zombies you see are people seen earlier in the movie. The parents in the tower block; the guy with the drugs; the Israeli/Palestinian singers ... it just adds to the movie so much.
This is my personal favorite zombie film, it's so fucking cool
I totally agree with you, I loved how intense this movie is!! The fact that the humans turn very quickly into zombies and the zombies run very fast made the movie unique and so stressful!!! Even after 11 years, it's still a great zombie movie!
It's very loosely based on a book that reads like an alternative history (and is a sort of sequel to 'The Zombie Survival Guide'). It goes deep into geopolitical and social aspects of a world overrun by zombies, how governments would react to it. It would be really cool to see a TV show that delves into this, looking at a zombie outbreak on a global scale, the different ways of countries to deal with it, how society would change, etc. As much as I like a good zombie movie (you are right, '28 Days Later' is a good one), I would be really cool to see a zombie movie/show with brains (pun intended) instead of just gore and action.

this is perfect i was literally looking to see if you reacted to this and now you uploaded it thank you very much!
Man, I remember watching this movie after COVID. I was terrified during that year. I remember every day I would turn on th TV to watch Nickelodeon hut the first channel would be the news, and there was just this huge amount of deaths, one for the world and one for the US. My sister didn't understand at the time. She constantly asked my family and I why the numbers were growing. She almost died. I'll never forget that year.
I had no idea this reaction was coming but this is one of my favorite zombie movies ever. I'm glad you reacted to it!!!
Literally 1 second into the reaction "who's pregnant?" 😂😂😂 Seb is a menace to society
I saw this movie multiple times in the theater. I don't think there are any other zombies that are more terrifying than these ones.
This is what I loved about this film. Action packed from beginning to end. Like Seb said, not even 30 minutes into the movie and the action is already kicking in 😊
We love Seb out here!
yeah that jump scare in the apartments when they were making way to roof scared the crap out of me when i was younger i was eating dinner and had my food on a laundry tout that was upside down then jump scare happened that i shot of it with me feet backwards on to the couch on the cushion that was in between my parents and my plate of food flipped over and was upside down on the floor and i didn't leave the couch after that but now that jump scare doesn't get me after that one time and grew up watching it and love it

SEB UPLOADED TODAY IS A GOOD DAY
6:30 I was trying to remember why this movie sticks out in my mind. I forgot it takes place in NJ 😂
One of my favorite books was a Steve King book called 'Cell'. It's a cool take on zombies that I feel like people sleep on. His son, Joe Hill has some cool stories too. Joe's comic series 'Locke and Key' was really good too. They did a Netflix show that was okay imo but his stories are really good. ✌️😎
cant wait to watch thru this
At the first air base... The plane lands but attracts no attention from the zombies. Then one guy sneezes and they all come running... Hahaha!!
i’ve seen this movie over 10 times and it still amazes me😅
this is probably my favorite zombie movie, just because of how frantic it is. and how insane the zombies are lol
Watching them go to the plane on bicycles was such a throwback to my DayZ days for me. I swear, it was like a deliberate easter egg! Also, best zombie movie is still 28 Days Later. You should definitely check it out!
I’ve watched WWZ 3 times and counting and it is always good with each rewatch.
Fan fact: That one soldier on the chopper at @9:07 is Jack from LOST.
I’m so glad you liked this. I’ve seen so many reviewers dismiss it because there wasn’t enough dialogue or character depth. I personally think it is enough to set the stage and connect the viewer to the story. After that it’s mainly a stop the zombies movie, which is fine with me.
love ur channel - please watch 28 days later!!! its a great film
32:07 it's actually based on a book World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War
havent seen it in the comments but there was a tv show called Z which kinda deals with the theme of this movie. I really loved the movie and would have loved to get a second part as it felt unfinished. Your reaction though was amazing! hilarious even!
World War Z was my fave zombie movie until I watched Train to Busan. It is easily the best zombie movie.
When I first watched this movie, I had high hopes for the virologist. He just had such a badass speech that made me like him, only for the guy to slip and die
This is my favorite zombie movie, I'm so glad you watched it.
Bro, you were missing out, WWZ is my families family movie 🤣 even my little sister watches it with us countless times 😅🔥🔥
Yesss I was waiting for this day. OH YEAHHH!!
Loved the reaction ✌🏽💯💯💯💯
I am pretty sure every zombie universe has its own way of spreading, sometimes blood, sometimes ur infected anyway but when you die you will turn, sometimes bites
3:22 to answer this question it actually depends on where your bit. Basically a few hours by a neck/arm to maybe a day by the leg. The quickest way to turn into a walker is just becoming dead without damaging the brain which can take around 1-3 minutes. To explain that way, the virus lays dormant in your brain as it’ll only take affect once you die. That’s as simple as I can get.
Man , watching WWZ for second time really changes your vision because now you know why some people were avoided by zombies
I love Brad in bullet train was amazing movie and also actor too
finally some decent moves man!
the reel rejects also reacted to this today, badass i got 2 reactions of one of my favorite zombie movies. but fr if these are the zombies we get irl we are not surviving

I love this movie now, but when I first saw it in theaters I was like 9 and it made me cry. Love your reactions! You should watch Chronicle (2012). Very good and underrated movie.

Train To Busan next!
Yes def. one of the best Zombie movies out there , highly underrated!
I saw this in cinema it was so good besides the jump scares
The stealth scenes really remind me of my time in the trenches walking around clickers
Funny you say that you wonder it was from a comic, its actually originally a book World War Z.

Seb laughing at his own poop joke made my day.

These were many things to survive to zombie apocalpyse 1. You need minigunner or flamethrower 2.kill them all and burn them into many parts because zombies scared of fires 3.grab your teamates that had super op weapon or like many fire stuff 4. The Crazies is a really good zombie movie too. Underrated
First city scenes were shot in Glasgow.
This is prolly an all time zombie movie... Haven't seen a lot but the concept is just good and it makes sense, even as a horror media movie it's good, you should react to "From (Epix)" though, it's produced by the Russo brothers, and is just endearing.
I haven't read the book but I've seen that the book shows that there have been multiple zombie outbreaks/incidents throughout the world prior to WWZ dating back to 60,000 B.C. with cave paintings showing zombies
My favorite Zombie's movie EVERRRRRRRR😂🤣 😂 🤣 😂 🤣 😂
You haven’t reacted to “Zombieland: Double Tap” and it’s definitely worth it.

Book is one of my faves! But slower. UN worker writing a report 10 years after zombie war. Traveling around the world getting stories from survivors. So freaking good! Zombies are the classic slow ones. Book written by max Brooks (Mel Brooks son). Mel Brooks is the comedian actor writer that made Space balls, history of the world, blazing saddles, and so forth)
