He found out they could have but was already hurt at this point so he didn’t really see there reasons being valid. They wanted to they really did especially Gwen. But they all knew if they were caught and they would be caught going to 1610 without a reason they would be sent back to there home universe without a way back. Gwen most likely wasn’t sent there by Miguel but found out about spot and him being in 1610 and begged Jessica to let her go. We know she said she wouldn’t see him yet it’s the first thing she done. For Peter he also missed him alof as he had a kid hoping if she raised her right she’d turn out like miles.

I do love how artsy this movie was. In Gwen's world the colors are from her comic world which is watercolors. Gwen's story in this is what happens in her comics. As someone who grew up with the 90's animated Spiderman cartoon. I'm glad people know the spot is a great villain and hard to defeat. In the theatrical version Gwen shouts out no no no when she thought Miles died & you can hear Miles thoughts when he figured he's in the wrong dimension. The cartoon Spiderman is the Spectacular Spiderman which is one of the greatest cartoons. I'm fine waiting for Part 2 until the writer strike is over.

They ended it so perfectly miles trapped and using peters advice after he escaped from that exact position. Gwen is consumed with regret knowing she fucked up big time. Although it wasn’t her fault entirely she regret her choices and made the original team with some great new comers then boom the credits start and one of the best songs iv heard in a while “am I dreaming” plays

In regard to Miguel being so harsh and downplaying Miles, I read an interesting observation. Basically Miguel could be this harsh and cruel towards Miles, because he sees himself in Miles. Miles has such a drive to change "fate", just as Miguel did when he replaced his other self in a different dimension so that his other self daughter wasn't left an orphan, and the consequences were severe. Also, when Miguel tells Miles that he doesn't belong it is as if Miguel was talking to his past self, telling him "you think you're doing good, but you're dooming everyone and everything."

  • @nolangerrans6083

    @nolangerrans6083

    10 ай бұрын

I definitely agree. At first Miguel seems to be genuinely trying to relate with miles, when he’s in the talking phase, but when he runs and tries to repeat miguels mistakes he becomes furious. I also see an element of exhaustion and misplaced blame towards miles from him, especially when he lashes out at him on the train. He views miles as the ultimate source of his stress and pain, as his transformation into Spider-Man is the “original anomaly.” It’s what made him delve into the multiverse to try and fix it, and now he’s got himself in a spot where he feels like he alone must maintain the entire multiverse so that no one else has to experience what he did when he accidentally destroyed a dimension. He may have put himself in that incredibly stressful role and doesn’t seem to fully understand how the multiverse works himself, but he sees miles as the start of where everything went wrong, so of course he gets mad when miles looks like he’s about to continue to damage the multiverse even more despite Miguel just warning him of the consequences. It’s very unfair to miles, but that’s how he seems to see things. He’s looking at the big picture far too much to notice how wrong he looks from a smaller scale

14:00 That’s not how Spider Senses work. Gwen likes Miles, and he is not a treat, which is why it doesn’t alert her to any danger. These Spider-Verse movies are on another level, man. Across the Spider-Verse is slightly better, in my opinion, but both are masterpieces. I give Into the Spider-verse slightly better storytelling, but Across the Spiderverse surpassed Itsv in every other category: the voice acting performances, the animation, editing, score/soundtrack, characters, antagonist, "cinematography", etc. The writing is just as good in both, so that aspect is a tie for me. If Beyond the Spider-Verse can be just as good or somehow even better, this will be by far the best superhero trilogy and one of the best trilogies.

And about Homecoming, that's only a director's mistake with bad continuity because in Civil War with the Russo Brothers, Tom's Peter had his spider senses fully developed, and then with the change of director, Jon Watts took away his spider senses and made it seem like he didn't understand it yet and had to get better at it; now in NWH, he fully understands it.

The thing about Miguel is that he blames Miles for what happened too. Had Miles not been bitten and turned into Spider-Man the collider wouldn't be activated and Miguel wouldn't have created the Spider-Society to try to protect the multi-verse. If none of those things happened he wouldn't have known about the universe where he dies and tried to replace himself. Miles is kind of the catalyst for everything that has happened and Miguel blames him for it.

He’d have still found out but he wouldn’t need to do what he does. He was going to travel the multiverse regardless but he wouldn’t need to make a society and have to fix it. But then if that never happened all these spider people would still think there alone with no one. The idea of the society is actually great either way. Other people who are like them they can talk to since every other Spider-Man is mostly alone and depressed the society gives a cure to that

Also because he is stuck in the universe where there isn't a spiderman he will try to find a way to help Miles 42 before he can get back to his original universe... Yeah a lot of the animators quit (over 100 according to the report) or burnt out and have openly spoken about "unsustainable working conditions" when doing this. So I have mixed feelings. I hope the strike gets them more hands on deck and more reasonable release schedules, because it's very clear that everyone involved really loves Spider-Man and what they're creating here. Aside from the working conditions, as a movie my only issue is that this isn't a full movie. If there never ends up being a second part, this doesn't resolve anything. It's just a very long and beautiful set up. Oh the Scarlet Spider thing! So the reason his dialogue is like that is because at the time he made his first appearance in the comics, the style of writing was very heavy on the captions being internal dialogue that pretty much just described to you the "moving" elements of a panel. Currently, if you read a good comic, the caption boxes might be internal dialogue or it might be an omniscient narrator adding layers to what you see on the page with information you don't get elsewhere in the comic. But back then it was literally the character narrating "I'm jumping over rooftops at night" while the panel shows them jumping over rooftops. "I punch the crook so hard his teeth break" and the panel shows the protagonist punching a bad guy.

I strongly disagree with the “it isn’t a full movie” the movie sets up two storylines, the spider society-acceptance storyline and the canonicity -spot storyline, the first one is completed in this movie, it starts with Gwen and her need for belonging, proceeds with Miles craving for acceptance, being part of a group he can rely on, at the beginning of the act 3 Miles’s arc gets resolved, he understands that he can stand on his own and doesn’t need the acceptance of those who can understand his struggles, Gwen takes a bit longer, but by the end she comes out of her vulnerable state to form her own band instead of abiding by the spider society’s rules… the spot and criticism to canon storylines were set up here and will be paid off in the next one… imo this movie it’s one of the best second installments in a trilogy… the fact that it gives so much and still leaves you craving for more is telling of it’s quality, shame the working conditions were so harsh on the people who put their all in it

If it does happen, I also hope Emma Stone and Bryce Dallas Howard returns as Gwen, but as Spider-Gwen in a different universe. I also hope Miles Brown play a live-action Miles Morales with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man as his mentor, and I think that Caleb McLaughlin should play a live-action Spider-Punk with Daniel Kaluuya as Spider-Punk and Shameik Moore as Miles Morales in a different universe. I noticed the wrong universe plot twist almost immediately. I thought I saw 42 when he got teleported then the universe just looked more hostile. Then the green eyes his mother has gave it away immediately for me, she has brown eyes in 1610. Either way it was so well done and the cliffhanger actually gave and still gives me chills with the prowler theme playing into start a band hen into am I dreaming for the credits just was 10/10

i'm totally POSSIBLY over-analyzing this movie, but BECAUSE OF THAT, i've come to tell you this: --potential spoiler? part of miguel's theme can be heard in the final track "across the spider-verse (start a band)", and when i say that, i mean you can hear it FADING OUT of the track. like gwen and the "band" are tuning him out.

I really like this movie because I don't think there's anyone really in the wrong here. I don't think Miguel has any ulterior motives and he genuinely believes in what he's doing is right, even if it is misguided. What I believe happened to him and that universe, obviously this is just a theory, is an insurgency. At least that's what I think it was called in Dr. Strange 2. Basically if someone from another universe stays too long in another universe, like taking over another version of your's life, that universe starts to collapse in on itself and destroys itself. I believe the "canon event" does exist and if disrupted will essentially course correct itself, whether it be taking someone else entirely or just delaying the target's death, but it will happen. It's just disrupting the canon won't have the effect that Miguel thinks will happen. Of course this is all theoretical but I do think that if the MCU is canon to Spiderverse in that throwaway line, then that rule surely has to be brought over, which if it is, I think would be pretty neat and elevate that line to more than just a blink and you'll miss it reference, but only time will tell

Actually it was marc bernardin that deserves the credit of inspiring miles to exist. He wrote an oped stating why isnt there a black spiderman. Bendis, the creator of miles, reading it and having biracial kids said, "yea why dont we?" Wouldnt have happened without that oped article.

i mean yeah they BOTH deserve credit, but i wouldn't say marc deserves sole credit like you're implying for some reason (and i implied about donald tbf) it was a mix of both his article and donald's name power that made Miles a possibility

@@ProfessorNoName donald deserves far less credit yes. This is due to the actuality of what happened in terms of events. If gambino never existed, miles still would which is my point. The original argument wasnt on who created him, it was who mattered to miles existence in the first place. Gambino only helped make him popular to normies by voicing him, Marc actually inspired his creation in the first place.

i don't want to discredit marc and his involvement, but who's to say where the character goes if not for donald and his campaign's influence. we may not even have these movies yet due to a slower development of the character. all i know is that as a 13-year old kid, the way i was introduced to the existence of the character was because of donald, which could prove your point about making him popular to normies, but that is a VERY important aspect. i don't see why it can't be an almost equal credit.

He played a part for sure but im not gonna act like miles wouldnt exist without Donalds involvement. The comics for the most part got miles to where he was at by donalds involvement. As for Miguel's verbal throttling of Miles, Miguel is not wrong. So far Miles has been able to "skate" with his actions and play super-hero, but when it comes to paying the price for his mistakes, it's always someone else who foots the bill. His Peter. His Uncle Aaron. Miles talks that he is ready to make decisions as an adult, but has yet to face real life-changing consequences that are a direct result. And Gwen is no better, as her mistakes have escalated to this dramatic situation.

No. 1. Before trans was so popular, gwen was still a thing. 2. She clearly has feelings for miles. They have a moment at the start of the movie, And if y'all think she's trans based off suit coloring, than miles is a dang nazi. 3. People can support something without mean that. That's what lgb supporters are.

@@TanjiroKamado530 1. trans people have existed for a long ass time, dude. Evidence goes back centuries at least. And if a Hobie can be British or a Peter can be a car/pig/t-Rex, then a Gwen can be trans. It’s the multiverse, anything’s possible. 2. What does that have to do with anything? Trans people can be attracted to men. Did you confuse being trans with being gay somehow? That is still one of the stupidest arguments in existence. No one thinks Gwen could be trans purely based off or costume, there are so many more reasons to think so. Also, Miles’ costume‘s colour scheme has a lot more in common with Antifa than the Nazis, given there’s a lot more black than red,and considering he has a BLM pin on his backpack… 3. Why did you leave the T out of the LGBTQ acronym? Rhetorical question, I know why. You’re a bigot who thinks you can divide the queer community by acting like you’re totally fine with the gays, and only trans people are the problem, but in reality you’d be happy seeing all non cishet people being wiped out. Besides, I’ve never seen a straight cis ally go so far as to hang pride flags in their room unless they’re a KZreadr, and I’ve especially never heard of a cop being so much of an ally as to wear a pride badge on their uniform outside of June, unless they knew someone personally close to them who was part of the LGBTQ+ community. And finally, it’s a headcanon. If some people want to personally believe she might be trans, that’s fine. It’s not hurting anyone. They’re not forcing you to think the same, unlike you.
