Highkey why everyone would automatically assume there wouldn't be anything strong in there so you can't even blame them for not expecting what happened

Sam's point at 6:05, "they're all in such casual clothing", is what first drew me to this manwha when I tripped across a panel of it a few years ago on Google images. I wondered why everybody wore such everyday clothes in this dangerous fantasy dungeon. I first thought this was a bunch of civvies accidentally isekai'd into it off the street. Most of these people have less equipment than one takes on a casual day hike!

their potential system is like jjk but more extreme, where jjk 80% of ur potential is determined at birth and in solo leveling its 100% of ur potential is determined at the moment of ur awakening.

@@rogerluiz2479 not really in most shounen there are ways to get extremely strong no matter where u stand, for ex Naruto, bleach or hxh and many more where in jjk if ur not born with a cursed technique ur pretty much limited an example of that is miwa the blue haired girl. And in solo leveling its worse where if u awaken as a D rank no matter what u do u will remain a D rank and can only get stronger by getting more experience and better gear but u will still remain D rank and have to hope ur one of the very few who re-awakens.

@@jamesbrook9815 In Naruto the only strong characters are born through strong clans. In hxh we literally follow Gon and Killua who are surpassing adult hunters at 12 years old and just being a hunter in and of itself is 1 in 400 thousand.

@@sandmand4036 wrong in naruto yes its easier to get stronger if ur born in a clan however anyone and I mean anyone can practice the 8 gates they just have to work hard, and there are others such as sakura she is not born from a clan yes she is powerful. In hxh you can become stronger even with no talent if you work hard u will be rewarded, and gon and killua are main characters ofc they are gonna advance quickly I just see it as plot but still if you work hard u will get stronger I mean look at netero for ex.

Glasses guy is an S rank hunter and is indeed A GUILD MASTER since you guys missed it. In terms of hunters he is at the top of the food chain alongside the other S rank hunters so he won’t be hanging around low ranks so no, the fire guy in Jin woos party isn’t him. Also I like this anime because all the side characters aren’t dickheads to Mc eventhough he is weak in the beginning. They still treat him like a normal human.

seems like they all see him as a good luck charm because if he's in the party then the dungeon isn't going to be hard.

For those who don't know, that extra scene that happened in the beginning of the anime, that wasn't in the manhwa, it was actually in the Korean light novel of solo leveling, so it's safe to say A1 PICTURES will be adapting the solo leveling Korean light novel and sticking to the manhwa artsyle at the same time

This is gonna be one hell of a ride for you guys HAHAHA! I've reread the Solo Leveling manhwa at least five times, and trust me when I say it is unpredictable in unexpected ways. While it's true that the story is less complex than those of most shounen manga, the action is top tier and the hype is always unreal. It's hard to expect the same quality of visuals as compared to the manhwa, since it would take a humungous amount of effort to keep up with the manhwa's still-image details and maintain it for a whole season of the anime, but I'd like to think that the voice acting cast are doing a fantastic job supplementing the difference in detail so far with this one episode. I hope you guys enjoy this as much as possible, and I'm so excited to see your reactions to future episodes and scenes:))

That throne room is supposed to be 3 times the Japanese Olympic stadium in size, and the big statue the size of the statue of liberty. It's incredibly hard to convey that size properly.

My favorite thing about this story is just following the growth of the MC. Much like other popular shows out where the action keeps up with the plot and it never feels boring. I do hope that they pace it well and give big moments that love. I really enjoyed the manhwa so I’m trying to keep my expectations low to stay surprised.

I have had anime burnout since Demon Slayer season 1, and have had to force myself to watch things that had a premise I found interesting, and if I didn't binge it, I just never finished it, so I just didn't watch anime anymore. There have only ever been 2 anime since then that have pulled me out of my burnout. Chainsaw Man and Solo Leveling. I am so excited for yall to join on the hype.

Yeah, people say that it's low on complexity, that's true compared to other animes/manhwas, Tower of God for example - but it has it's own depth and no spoilers, but it gets SO MUCH BETTER as the story goes on

So there is a "Hunter Association" which is like a government Agency that regulates hunters and "Owns" all the rights to all the Gates. Any Hunter that works for the Association is like a Government employee Hunter, but there are also "Guilds" which would be like Private Companies of Hunters who then buy the rights to explore specific dungeons from the Association. So guilds only bother buying the Higher Tier Dungeons, as it's not worth their time to run lower dungeons. This is why A & B Rank Hunters tend to buy scouted by powerful Guilds, and even some of the more promising C Ranks get scouted, but lower C Ranks, and D & E Ranks tend to get ignored. So the Association then uses these lower rank "Free Agents" like government Contractors to clear the lower Rank Dungeons for them. This is also why all the hunters in the group with SJW (Sung Jin Woo) are in street cloths, E & D Rank hunters are too poor to afford anything beyond a basic weapon so they will appear in Street Cloths. C Ranks tend to make enough to, at least buy a piece of gear or two beyond just their weapon, so they will appear in Street cloths and maybe a helmet, or gauntlets or shoulder pads or a Breastplate... something. Then B & A Rank Hunters make some pretty good money, so they can afford to get full gear, and really fancy gear at that.

They're speeding through this though. The manga never showed Cha-Hae, Baek Choi Jong-Inaek so soon. It was way better how the manga introduced them over time. Though i understand why they're doing it this way..... they want to put in more action. And grab audiences from the get go. I prefer the slow and steady approach personally.

Song its a party leader, basicly theare no guild they work for assosiation so for the chose the party leader mostly the higher rank on the party or must have good skill

They've always been very good at predicting things..... or figuring things out. And it wasn't something that even got mentioned in the main manga....only in the spinoffs at the end.

To be fair, I wouldn't split loot evenly with Sung either. He cannot kill a single mob without getting severely wounded and taking their healer 5 minutes to heal him. He is basically dead weight at this point. Love Sung Jinwoo, but at this point he is a liability.

Chained Soldier/Mato Seihei no Slave, Shangri-La Frontier, the 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You (Hyakkano) are the current famous manga series .....and Sengoku Youko is from old manga from 2008

Isn't the manga finished.....it ended. The main one ended....then they had those spinoff chapters. But the last scene of the spinoff was a deliberate cliffhanger.... they're not going to show what happened after. That's left for us to imagine.
