My guess is that they either 1. Didnt have enough time or 2. They were already pushing it with his first form bleeding normally

The ONE and ONLY motherfucker to be still relevant after several DECADES! STILL Putting out fantastic shit, enough so that even Toho, the owners of Godzilla, TRUSTED him with their beloved IP! And what did he get in return of that trust? This phenomenal piece of work with layers of depth and commentary that's as entertaining as it is critical of the governmental state they're in! Sad fact: This Godzilla is constantly in pain and isn't attempting to destroy everything; he is simply too massive and is almost in a trance due to the pain, wandering without any real direction. His own blood is burning him from the inside. When they finally damage him enough, his internal heat exceeds the limit, causing his body to expel boiling blood as fire. Once it reaches a high temperature, it becomes an atomic beam, but it inflicts more pain than before. Godzilla attempts to stop the laser by closing his mouth, but unfortunately, it is more powerful than his body, causing it to leak from his back, inadvertently destroying air forces. He then faints for weeks. It's not until his second fight that he learns to use his beam attack with ease, but it's noticeably less powerful than the first one.

It's not less powerful, it's just more controlled. Also, closing his mouth and releasing the lasers from his back seemed like an instinctive use of his abilities that he learns to fully control later; not "he tried to close his mouth so it came out of his back"; especially since he uses the same thing ON PURPOSE later. He may actually be in constant pain, but the final battle shows that he is clearly aware of his surroundings, and has VERY GOOD reaction time (considering he was able to quickly target multiple vehicles and projectiles with two different lasers).

Another great myth that likes to misinform with this theory It's a good theory, but it's far from the truth. The film itself explains that this organism is perfect, its evolution is not torture, bleeding is not torture, it is a biological process of this living being. Horned lizards shoot blood from their eyes, and this process is not agonizing at all, it is a simple natural process of an animal that they are already used to, it does not mean that it suffers, just like the evolutions of shin godzilla, this is not a suffering Godzilla can in fact barely code pain, as he was only seen suffering from taking damage from the missiles to his back.

"Imagine like by the 15th form you can practically see him from space." You're not wrong, this version of Godzilla has infinite evolution, able to turn into a galaxy if left aside.

I saw this in the theater in IMAX. It was an experience. You felt like you were there. Everything from the roars to the emotions hit a hundred times harder. One of the best movies I've ever seen.

Shin Godzilla is by far the most destructive! From a small glob fish lizard looking creature to a full blown Kaiju from Hell 🔥 Fun fact : In the end when he froze, we could have potentially seen Humanoid Godzilla Type looking creatures emerge from his tale, a Fifth Form that's more terrifying than himself!

I would argue that the new godzilla in godzilla minus one is more destructive, just because they decided to make literal use of the "atomic" in his atomic breath, creating a literal nuke that can be used again in what seems like a matter of minutes.

This Godzilla literally show us whose the boss...A menace brutal king....That's how a king terrorize the world...100% love it and especially in japanese world. Can't wait for Minus one

shin godzilla is a good movie in my opinion

Godzilla as portrayed in American made movies is more like an anti-hero. Japan made Godzilla movies are more faithful to how Godzilla was originally portrayed in his very first movie. A monster in pain, taking it out on humanity and the world.

I recommend from Heisei era Godzilla vs biollante, Godzilla vs Mothra and Godzilla vs Destroyah.

Towards the end, the humanoid figures on his tail is are mutation of Godzilla himself trying to get out before his whole body is frozen due to coagulation. It means Godzilla could have evolved into something truly unstoppable and horrifying should Shin Godzilla break free from his frozen state. It is mentioned how parts of its blown flesh continues to mutate suggesting that those flesh could evolve themselves as separate entity from Shin Godzill and possibly fly across the world. Truly, the God of Destruction.

I have to say I love this version of Godzilla, he looks like an eldritch abomination.

Yeah, the Monsterverse version of Godzilla is considered a good guy, and the people he kills aren't shown since it isn't the focus of the movie. Movies where Godzilla is an antagonist, like Shin Godzilla, it's far more aware of the destruction he causes.

Shin Godzilla is a tormented monster. It lives in pure agony. A very unique and devastating take on the creature. And something not everyone understands initially is that the excess of meetings is to poke fun and also criticize the bureaucracy of the government and it's lack of haste to do something about the situation

If I die on this world...

I forget if this is canon or not but Shin Godzilla will eventually break out of the stasis he was put in and evolve further, eventually becoming a lovecraftian entity that is the universe itself.

@@huyle-ob8rg from what I remember anno and the team wanted to make a more lovecraftian godzilla with the concept art showing that but Toho was iffy on the concept and apparently it was already a stretch to have him evolve but they found out they can get away with it as long as he evolves into a more traditional godzilla and fast forward now we have godzilla singular point which shows that toho is more than okay with godzilla evolving like pokemon especially with Ultima being a 4d dimension creature that is prophesied to end the world/universe so in short shin walked so ultima could run

Im just gonna say that No, there was never a plan for a shin godzilla sequel which was confirmed by the director himself and no there also wasnt some canon thing that godzilla would evolve into the galaxy itself and destroy everything that is a fan idea that either dangerville or goji center proposed and passed off as true which is just wrong, they most likely got the idea from early concept art that shows more intense lovecraftian forms but as far as it being canon that shin evolves into the universe is just silly and whoever is saying it is just spreading misinformation

it might not be canon but it isn't untrue to say that was the original concept, hence the hint towards yet another evolution. The original concepts just seems beyond what godzilla should be, even though later projects touch upon similar concepts like Ultima and Earth.

It is true that shin was originally supposed to be more lovecraftian with concepts showing shin having another shin grow out of him but from what I recall toho was really iffy on the design but they said it was okay as long shin evolved into a traditional godzilla. Ultima just takes things to whole other level but then again singular point had alot of pseudoscience to back up its creation since Ultima is presumed to be a singular point creature from some 4th dimensional realm. As for godzilla earth I don't really understand what you mean by they touch on similar subjects because from what I remember earth just grows like the flora it is based on but if you mean void ghidorah being another type of lovecraftian creature that we can't comprehend then yeah I would agree

This is the best Godzilla I've seen. Bordering on Lovecraftian. I liked minus one, and I think the US version is really cool. But this Shin Godzilla is just awesome as hell.

Shin Godzilla is literally immortal. He evolves to new threats on the fly. All they could do was freeze him using his own nuclear core against him. Shin Godzilla is written as an insane, over powered creature.

Watch minus one too, and this godzilla wad always evolving, and the tail humanoid where the next step of evolution to destroy humanity, you can look the delete and 2nd plans for the sequel that godzilla was going to evolve until he becomes a galaxy and finally dies bcz the amount of energy he will required to evolve

I'm genuinely so flabbergasted that people believe this because it was stated shin was never getting a sequel and was a one and done deal which was confirmed by the director himself the only reason people believed shin was gonna evolve into this galaxy was because of dangerville or goji center who found the early concept arts and just assumed it was canon and ran with it.
