Team Cole. I am rooting for the girl and as the season goes on you can feel she is more into him than Alex. Plus they have crazy chemistry and way more meaningful and vulnerable conversations. While Coles best sides come out with time, Alex bad ones do. I bet you'll be hit with the Cole effect at some point too lol. Anyways, love your reaction!

It’s so weird. This show proves to me that it takes more than just a trope to determine what I like cuz (yes Ik this is a different show and they aren’t copy and pasted versions of it) but cole is obviously very similar to Conrad from the TSITP, and Alex is a little similar to Jeremiah, but I’m team Jeremiah and Team Cole, I never know which side I’m gonna be on😭I also think it’s cuz I don’t really see any chemistry between Alex and Jackie and some things that Alex does kind of gave me the ick😭

I’m from NY (Long Island) and it’s got so much diversity in the differences areas. Upstate which typical old school NYers don’t consider upstate as being part of NY….but in some upstate areas, you’d think you’re actually in the countryside and then there’s some beautiful hills and mountain ranges….and there’s also a mixture of rich upscale towns, small town vibes, and a few big cities (Albany being one of them) then for NYC…..all the boroughs though Staten Island also isn’t considered as part of NYC since it’s closer to Jersey….and then there’s Long Island. The closer you are to the city on Long Island….its more suburban, and the more you get closer to the North Shore and the Hamptons….it becomes more rural.

I’m 100% team Cole. Him and Jackie have WAY more chemistry and he truly cares abt her. You can tell when her teapot broke and he just knew how much it meant to her.And even though Alex is sweet, he’s completely oblivious to the fact that Kylie likes him. He needs to take a step back and just focus on himself. P.S. Sorry for the spoiler alert😅 I’m just really invested in the show.

I think it may be the writing. I read a comment elsewhere that said the series doesn't stray very far from the books (which were originally published on Wattpad). I read the first two chapters and can confirm, they kept most of it the same, including the dialogue.
