I'd highly suggest watching the recent documentary on the Springboks Wordcup run in 2023. It's called "Chasing the sun 2", you'll get a new level of appreciation for the South African players, and Eben is a monster in it.
"He threw him into the next game".... Dude, I spat out my coffee!

Elizebethiiiii! Lol eben is a beast but such a humble guy off the field met him at a doctors office once even though he wasn't feeling good he took time to sign autographs n take pics with everyone
Players in rugby respect the referee , doesn't matter the size or aggression , they all appeal to the refs understanding and apologize ( hoping to get off with a warning ) . Eben learnt a lot from Bakkies Botha , who stopped playing when they added an extra 6 hi res camera's to the field knowing he wasn't going to get away with some of his physical corrective measures anymore .

correction NOT IVEN A SEMI FINAL OMG NO.WAY 2024??????
Fun fact about Eben: He kept strapping smaller weights to the dumbbells in his gym because the weight was too light for him, so they had to custom order 80kg (177lbs) dumbbells for him to train with.
If you'd like to see what a Springbok can bring in terms of physicality watch 'Pieter-Steff du Toits tackles in the 2023 Rugby World Cup Final '. PTSD as he's known for the lasting effect he has on opponents 😊
Eben in blue (WP) took out Bismark Du Plessis in white (Sharks) . Bismark is one the the best, toughest and most feared players on the field. Eben was just starting out there. This was in 2012. "I have never seen this in any internation play, he's (Bismark) always the biggest, he's always the strongest..." - Commentary.

If 5 thugs/ bullies come to you and you have Eben with you , they will bring their lunch money to you the next day...))) He is a very nice person btw
He’s a big boy. 6 feet 8 inches and 270 pounds.
11:02 Line outs , if the ball leaves play on the sides of the field from hand or boot ( not going forward ) the opposition to the last player handling or in possession of the ball gets the throw in ( except in the case of penalties which go to the kicking side ) , the teams line up the throwing team dictates how many players both sides are allowed in the playing area (normally 5,7 or 9) ( these are the forwards numbering 1-8 and the scrum half number 9 )ball must be thrown straight both sides jump to contest the ball , but cannot be lifted only supported ( so he jumper needs to leap into the air but then can be lifted higher and held up ) It is a penalty offense to close the gap before the throw or to interfere with the jumping player . The jumping players are normally locks ( number 4 or 5 ) but sometimes tall loose forwards ( 6,7 or 8 ) supported by 1,3 (props) and the other loose forwards number 2 ( hooker) throws the ball in , the other player allowed in the 5 meter play area is the scrum half , who works as a transition between the set piece and the "attacking" backs . Eben is a number 4 but is getting old , so he leaves the jumping to the number 5 ( Mostert , he was the guy with the blood all over his face in one of your other vids , Snyman or De Jager ) but still contests . Might want to have a look at Snymans vids the man is a viking berserker .
"Baby in a crib" 😂😂😂😂
Bro your reactions are gold
You don't want to mess with Eben😂😂😂
LOVE!! I especially like the little intro part where you playing with a rugby ball 😘
he has 3 other brothers around about just the same size and they go out in cape town and fight just for fun. We south African women love our Alpha men

Eben is a cool guy. He is just a typical South African who does not take nonsense .❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Another epic reaction🙌 Thank you!!
His uncle was my neighbour, good people but you didn't mess with them. He plays hard, but don't do him dirty, you'll regret it. He is very much respected and very loved person, by everybody.
From a South African Afrkaans native, Eben is a national treasure, but he learned from Bismarck du Plessis! Check the GOAT out ❤
Sir I'm a white south African and your reactions leave me in tears of laughter...you remind me of my black African brothers.... your sense of humour is so similar..awesome...god bless.
brother, You're looking at the extreme's in the Springbok team. None of these players win or lose a game for us. It is 100% a team effort. Take a look at players like Jesse Kriel , De Alende, Malcolm Marx, Mapimpi, Kolisi, Ox Nche, Arendse etc...Even previous generations, Bismark Du Plessis, The struggle Chester Williams allegedly faced. Do the research. People love this. South Africans have a blood lust when it comes to rugby. Our nation is so fucked it is frightening, and yet we get sport right for some reason while government isn't involved.
There are times i have been in the stadium and those flames go , you can feel the heat from the stands
theres a famous picture of Eben eating a burger and its famous because of the size of his bicep compared to the burger. you should look it up
Bakkies Botha - The original enforcer
etzebeth swatted them away as if they were children: 4:18 - bismarck du plessis : 6'2 254lbs 6:01 - coenie oosthuizen : 6'2 280lbs
There was a rumor that Eben had custom 80kg dumbbells made for training

Yeah 75kg in each hand, and repping them
Gio Aplon is another dude you gotta see. He & Cheslin Kolbe used to play together for the Stormers & Western Province.. you won't be disappointed
Eben Etzebet there will never be another
See if you can find the documentaries, Chasing the Sun and Chasing the sun 2, It is about the Springbok's previous 2 world cup campaigns. Will definitely give you a new appreciation for the effort these guys put into the game, and how much it means to our country
@10.55 its a line out. when the ball goes out of play the 2 teams line up side by side with one team throwing the ball back into play. what they were showing was eben stealing the ball in a lineout
4:18 that dude was Eben's South African teammate Bismarck Du Plessis. Check this guy too. He's very aggressive.

😂😂😂😂 its true
Rugby was the first to have codified rules, but only by two years. The rules of rugby were first codified in 1871, while American football rules were drawn up in 1873 by representatives of Yale, Columbia, Princeton and Rutgers Universities
Your next video must be for BAKKIES BOTHA - Ebens Professor 😂
Okay now start learning all you can about Rugby and then when the next world cup comes around you will be able to enjoy it. It is truly an amazing sport. We live and breathe it.
I'm watching this just to hear what you have to say😂😂😂😂

love from the Zef side
I would love to hear you compare America Football to Rugby ... and ... Would you put a rugby team together to go against South Africa, to include yourself ?
EBEN IS A GOOD PERSON BUT IN THE FIELD HES A BEAST😂😂
When you have been taken down by Eben you know you gonna feel it tomorrow... and maybe next week... He is a nice chap off the field.
10:50 is called a line out, both teams complete in the air to gain control of the ball
The guy that Eben throwed away weighs around 220 pounds...
He's a big guy. Very friendly person though.
we call him YsterBeth in the western cape..love him to much.. checkout our new younger guys like peter Stephanis an Siya
I just learnt Eben is 6'8
its called a line out through.. if your team are close to the goal line and your opponent have the right to throug in Your team have to compete in the Air or on the ground..get the ball safe with interference in the air or over run by scrum the opposition over the touch down for a goal drop out or a panelty that can give you 3 Points ore you can run or kick the ball
And BAKKIES BOTHA THE ORIGINAL ENFORCER CHECK HIS VIDEO.
Also I'm a Kansas Chiefs FAN!!!!!!!

Eben is great but the first enforcer was Bakkies
Looks Sebastien Chabal Tribute Bro ;)
If you think Eben is a great Enforcer - you should watch Bakkies Botha 😮💨
Watch Bakkies Botha...your welcome
at 4:30 you need to understand WHO he owned...
Watch Sergio Parisse highlights
Eben Etzebeth a nice Oake
...if you want to be the best...
liern whats said about Eban at the start of your clip..not enough wieghts for him in the gym..
It’s interesting to see peoples concepts of an enforcer. Bakkies and Etzebeth are polar opposites to New Zealand AllBlack enforcers. Buck Shelford - Shelford changed everyone's thinking about what being tough actually meant. The fact he was able to play on with badly ripped testicles says it all. Jerry Collins (RIP) - Big Jerry's biceps had a diameter of 58cm which meant when he hit people, they stayed down. Collins was more of a terminator than an enforcer. Colin Meads - It wasn't just playing with the broken arm that made Meads a legendary enforcer. He had an aura - he emanated a definite vibe that suggested he should be approached with caution. Richie McCaw - He played throughout the World Cup on a broken foot and has been subjected to a legion of cheap shots in his 116 test career and taken them all without retaliation. TOTALLY different types of enforcers and hard men. No crazy eyes or flying punches…just brute strength and hard out rugby
Best highlight not shown here was Etzebeth being picked up and raised horizontally by the Ireland players James Lowe and Josh van der Flier and marched backwards. He is kept in the air for some time, with legs dangling out of the maul in a huge defence effort from Ireland. Was a sight to see!

Except that would go against the grain for what individual player highlights do.
you need to watch womens rugby bro. Hair pulling is not allowed there either and they hit just h=as hard
It's the steroids. If they're a South African rugby Player they're probably on the juice.
