Shape of You in English, Spanish and African Zulu is fantastic indeed. You can even see them dancing singing Smooth Criminal as well! If you are a LOL fan, check their Warriors and Legends Never Die! And they broke the record of their own with EXO's MAMA winning 6 trophies for King of Kings in a row in Immortal Songs. Check their magnificent performances of Bad Romance and Lazenca Save us, Unwritten Legend and Despacito too. Forestella is a quartet of Ko WooRim (a classical bass, intense abyss-deep low tone), Kang HyungHo (an ex-research chemist, rock vocalist with soprano head voice falsetto), Cho MinGyu (a classical leggiero tenor, light boyish crystal clear tone) and Bae DooHoon (a musical actor, 159th King of the Masked Singers, emotion convincer good at R&B, Pop). Each has distinct tone and style of singing, different charm. But all of them are famous as practice-freaks. They meet almost everyday to practice together. In a radio program the leader (Cho MinGyu) revealed it would be around 20 days they didn't meet in the year. Bae DooHoon also said they don't meet 1~2 days in a month. I think this explains how their perfection can be possible. Don't miss their m/v for Save our lives! It's full of wonders. Each of them is representing an element in the m/v. Take a listening to Chosen One, an EPIC OST of the Sword of Aramun. Forestella released fantastic original Snow Globe m/v! Kang HyungHo composed it, and all the Forestella members contributed in arranging it. Another original Chagall's Dream brings back the moment of Forestella Festival in my heart, I feel like in my lucid dream seeing Forestella altogether in the future in advance. However, I regret the forgetting of Forestella's collaboration with the queen of traditional Korean song, national treasure since the age of 13, the young Song Sohee. Their “Nella Fantasia” with her + a double orchestra, symphonic and traditional, is a pure delight. And their cover of one of Sohee's favorite songs, "If I leave", is also one of their most powerful and moving. If there was a woman to add to this male quartet, no one would be a better fit than the fabulous Song Sohee!

They are a quartet and are truly amazing. They've covered this song so beautifully that I'm speechless! 🤍 I highly recommend for you guys to check their repertoire of songs, both originals and covers, you will love them even more! ✨

They are known as the King of harmonies. They are a crossover group formed on the show Phantom singer season2 in 2017. Since then they have performed and competed in various shows with record breaking wins on the Immortal songs competition. This is one of their performances on Immortal songs. Their repertoire is very broad, covering various genres and languages. Every performance is different & incredible! Their originals are the same! Simply mind blowing! They have toured the US and Canada last year and they were phenomenal! This year one member (Base Ko Woorim) had to fulfill the 18 month mandatory military service. Other 3 have completed it. So they perform as a trio and also spend time on their independent projects and group. I would recommend cover of “ Je suis Malade” ( French)or “ Nella Fantasia” ( Italian) next . Most of their performances are live, except for their music video’s. But you can find live versions of that as well. Welcome to Forestella. They are a superb crossover quartet from South Korean. Forestella members are normally standing in a specific order on stage from left to right Ko Woorim ( operatic bass. He is currently busy with his compulsory military service), Kang Hyung Ho (Rock, tenor, counter tenor), Cho Mingyu ( tenor and leader) and Bae Doohoon (musical actor baritone tenor). My favouritesong of theirs are the song Champions ( The Seoul Festa version. ) From beginning to end you are blasted with the full sound of their voices. It is a more classical sounding song and the 4 of them sound like a full choir together. It is not one of their more popular songs but you will not be disappointed if you listen to it. They have some of their own songs you have to listen to Save Our Lives first and then Utopia as Utopia follows on Save Our Lives ( It is part of a trilogy). White Night is also special. Their crossover songs that are Dell Amore Non Si Sa, In'Ultra Vita, Parla Piu Piano, Nella Fantasia and Angel. If you want to listen to their Korean songs As I Live, Dead Drunk, Words From The Wind and Lazenca Save Us are good songs to start with. Lastly they have done renditions of famous songs like Despacito, Bad Romance, Bohemian Rhapsody, We Are The Champions, Time In A Bottle, Hijo De La Luna, Inner Universe, I Need A Hero Sweet Dreams, My Favorite Things and a few others. Most of their videos are performed on KBS so there copyright issues, so block it before hand to save yourselves some hassle. I hope you enjoy your trip down the Forestella rabbit hole. They always deliver exceptional performances and never disappoints.

Excellent reaction to this lovely cover by my favourite vocal group, Forestella. For more lovely covers try Hijo De La Luna, Inner Universe, Sound Of Silence, Moonlight and Nella Fantasia, etc. Fun covers include Shape Of You, Despacito, Bad Romance and Sweet Dreams. Truly stunning covers include Bohemian Rhapsody, Champions, We Are The Champions, Legends Never Die and in particular, Je Suis Malade and Time In A Bottle. This song Scarborough Fair is from old English folk song. Simon&Garfunkel version is the most famous as far I know. There are some stories about this song Scarborough Fair..what I've read was this is a song from a ghost (soul) of a dead soldier. He asked the herbs growing on his dead body to deliver his message to his beloved girl in Scarborough Fair where was a big herb market. He asked the herbs to tell her impossible task "Tell her to make me a cambric shirt without no seams nor needle work" to make her give up waiting for his coming back as he's already unable as he's dead. Forestella sang like as messengers of this sad and beautiful story. Also there are symbols those herbs significated: parsley for comfort or to remove bitterness, sage for strength, thyme for courage, and rosemary for love. There's some speculation that these four herbs were used in a tonic of some sort to remove curses. What I first heard was to remove memories..so I thought he (the dead soldier) wanted to remove the memory about him from his girl to make her not mourning for him anymore. BTW I found those herbs cannot be grown in the same areas in fact while on my researching English references.. so it could be just for remembering the recipe for turkey seasoning ingredients, too.

Love thse guys.... you might be impressed with Bohemian RHAPSODY if you're a Freddie fan. Another one is JE SUIS MALADE... where they sing in French.... .Despacito where they sing in Spanish... Nella Fantasia where they sing in Italian. As an aside, your high voice never had NO formal training... he was a chemist. This competition in 2017 was his last kick at the cat. They sang the songs you have reacted, my first recommendation is Bohemian Rhapsody. For me it's the best version ever even I saw both versions you reacted to. And then...Je suis malade, the Sound of Silence, the Phantom of the Opera solo performance by Kang HyungHo (who did soprano here, he got inspired from NightWish version), Radioactive, etc. They have Kpop covers and original Kpop style songs. A lot of covers, originals songs and solo performances A little tip for you to know who is who , except very few exceptions ( like Despacito cover) they are always in the same position, left to right: Ko Wo Rim the bass, Kang Hyun ho the counter tenor also a rocker and a guitarist, Choi Ming yu the tenor leggero( the leader , a real stratège) and my soft spot Bae Do Hoon the barytone ( musical actor, king of emotion) My favorite from them Covers: Angel, Champions( the fifa anthem ligue), Inner Universe ( so hard to sing) , and so so many more Originals songs : White Night , Snow globe Solos Kang Hyun ho: the phantom of the opera( crazy performance) Ko woorim : Arabian night , automn leaves Bae Do hoon: defying gravity , say something ( he barely made it at the end and finish the song crying and even nailed it) Choi Ming yu : all his auditions . Best crossover group in the world! They cover everything from opera to pop, including rock. May I suggest next their incredible cover of “Shape of you” (Ed Sheeran). They take it to a new level. By the way, they did a 5 stop tour of the USA last year, and hopefully they will come back in 2025 after their base singer is done with his mandatory military service!

Very nice! I like the ethereal background music and their very professional looking stage performance. Great lighting. They even had that stage smoke! Nice! It’s very well produced. Cindy, at 6:29 you said you are very picky and don’t like acapella groups if they’re not good. This is not acapella. There’s music. Maybe you were meaning the harmonies or something. Finn! Nice to meet you, ya good lookin’ dog! 🐶 There’s someone who sang Scarborough Fair that I prefer the sound of even more than Forestella. Maybe you won’t be surprised. Dan Vasc does an excellent job singing all of the harmonies himself. His voice blends so perfectly with himself. If you love this song , you should hear it sung by Dan. I’m not even kidding. He does a great job with it. It’s not “metalized” in any way, just sung well.

As you probably reralized by now, YES, that low voice is, indeed the LOWEST. It is Ko Woorim, a classically trained basso profundo (the lowest opera voice) Their normal lineup (as pictur4ed here) i8s bass (Ko Woorim) then next is rocker and not trained (a natural) countertenor Kang Hyungho. Then classically trained legerro tenor (and group leader) Cho Mingyu. Finally. musical theater barritone/tenor Bae DooHoon. I am now subbed and have notifications ON! I look forward to MANY MORE of your Forestella reactions! I love EVERYTHUNG they do! MY first recommendation, however, would be Je Suis Malade (a song in French, just gorgeous!) Thanks again!
