Doomsday is the very first song they did just after the death of the former guitarist (the twin brother of the drummer and best friend of the Singer), so for me every time I hear those screams my heart just breaks Into many pieces. That was just for the context hehe. It's hard to introduce someone to Metalcore, or just "heavy" music but ur doing in incredible job, keep going, love ur content, u should hear "dead butterflies" is not a heavy song but it preserve the soul of the band.

Context for the video: This is the first video they released after guitarrist, founding member and songwriter passed away from cancer in 2016. Dan Searle, his twin brother, depicts his ascend to heaven in this video, so him flying on that ray of light with Sam just screaming his guts out over it is such a goosebumps moment. Maybe puts that rawness into perspective for you.

How about look at the reason of their songs and ill GARANTEE you'll like "doomsday""hereafter" and "gone with the wind" way more than "animals" Ps those 3 songs were about one of the band members brothers that was the lyricist of said songs as it was his last because he died of cancer. The songs were basically him expressing what he was going thru before he died.

I used to think I hated "screaming" when I was younger, and still find some of it cringe with some bands, but in this sort of case Sam does a really good job with it, screams very cleanly, and with him I can feel the sadness in his screams a lot of the time. After a while you really just start to understand and accept it, and it begins to not even sound all that heavy anymore. I think connecting with the underlying emotions behind it and understanding what the songs are about goes a long way, and gritty tones like this sometimes are the only way truly express the sadness, or inspirational feelings behind the words. Memento Mori is a great example. That song can bring me to tears.

You'll definitely like a lot more of their recent stuff, way more accessible. The lyrics are always very direct/meaningful with Architects too well worth a read-long (or afterward if that's your preference 😁). Seeing a lot of "Animals" requests but I think you'd really dig their track "Little Wonder" too. Has a feature from Mike Kerr (from Royal Blood)& it's a nice middle ground of fairly heavy instrumentals & catchy melodic singing from both guys. 🤘👍😁

Congratulations my friend Ellierose!! ...Now here you have your best new year gift!!....Today it is very difficult to find reactors like you who have never reacted to the best singer in the world, Dimash Kudaibergen, who has 7 octaves and 3 semitones vocal range (An alien) ... Maybe someone made you a request to react to Dimash, but you have not had time .... I am going to dare to recommend that you meet Dimash, because when you do it for the first time, your life as reactor will change forever ....For example, the number of views that you have today, it will increase by 300% in a matter of a few hours and you will get a lot of new subscribers.....But when you react to Dimash, don't do it with his most recent songs ... I recommend that you go to the year 2017 and react to the song that made him a global idol ... I mean the performance he did Dimash from the famous French song called "SOS D'un Terrien en Détresse", when he participated in the famous Chinese reality show The Singer in that year 2017 ... With that performance Dimash earned the reputation of being the best singer on the planet, so I recommend you start with that one .... You can also start with the other famous live version of that song that Dimash did the following year 2018 when he was invited to the famous Slavic Bazzar festival in Belarus .... Both performances are from another planet....Your life will never be the same again, after reacting for the first time to Dimash...And your first reaction to Dimash will be something very special, so I recommend that you do the best job of your life as a reactor (Wear your best clothes, Je, je!!), because that first video will be seen by thousands of people around the world, maybe millions...I hope to see you first reaction soon and please, remember me, because I will change your life forever!!
