Both 'Du hast' and 'Engel' were from the same Rammstein album, from 1997, so that's another reason they sound a bit similar. They were some of the band's biggest early hit songs.

"Sehnsucht" is an amazing album. It shows the early stages of Rammstein where they still were working out what their true style was supposed to be. That's why you got the whole span of effective awesomeness of their songs. You got the legendary ones like "Du hast" und "Engel" - and you got "Spiel mit mir" 🙄

the living legends of industrial rock!

Having been to two live shows of Rammstein I still feel very privileged. It isn't easy to get tickets nowadays for their shows. It is quite the spectacle to watch the show and listening to their music live and loud; the way it should. Besides their awesome industrial rock songs they also made some very good "ballads" worth listening to. I could recommend "Nebel" and "Mutter" if you want to listen to a different range this band has. I love to see your reaction to the performance and like you I was awed when I saw it for the first time. At my first live show I was quite close to the stage and the heat from the burners, flames and fireworks was quite insane really but I love every second of it. Singer Till Lindeman is a professional pyrotechnical so the show is as safe as can be.

Did you know that the wings that Till (singer) has around have a weight of more than 50kg (110lbs)? 🙈 It’s the reason why he was moving slowly. Greetings from Germany ☺️

One of the managers of Madison Square Garden said that when Rammstein used all the fire at once on rehearsal - it immediately sucked lots of oxygen out of arena, and he felt like his head was squeezed. So yeah, its very warm there and squeezy on live shows of Rammstein

Not just the weight...it's the way it's distributed. I've been told he doesn't use the wings anymore, but you can tell by the way he's walking when the are folded that the distribution is DEFINITELY pulling backwards in a massive way. Till is a beast.

The female voice is Christiane Herbold from the german band Bobo in the white wooden houses.

Those wings are a piece of art, not because of the flame throwers (altho badass!) but the structure and those metal feathers is "technology meets art" for sure. And now we wait for the handheld flame throwers ;) (and a cooking pot ofc!)

Should have the "Live from Berlin" one -- really is best with female "Engel".

Lyrics are very important in Rammstein songs, try to get translation. You're missing half the experience..You think he says "I'm no angel" but it is different, he says "i don't want to be an angel"...
