Norwegian Reggaeton was the first song of theirs I heard, and became a fan immediately.

It's called a Reggaeton for a reason:) The beat throughout the song is THE Reggaeton beat (the one and only). Also, when they are singing "a mirar la foca", which KZread captions translate as "watching a seal", it is a Spanish-Italian slang phrase which means "Ogling hot chicks". And "Roasting a salmon" means "Nailing every box in sight" or something like that:) La vida loca indeed:)

Here (in Spain) we only use "mira a esa foca" to refer to a really fat girl, it can be literaly translated to "look at that seal". And never heard about the salmon lol. Anyway, the song is hilarious.

there are SO many references, in the video, in the lyrics, even in the song itself, besides the obvious Cranberry worship, the Manowar tribute is slightly less noticable (at least was to me first time around.) But also the obvious reference to the Pitbull/Daddy-Yankee crowd mixed with some real Black Metal history is absolutly a clash of cultures but it just works!

When rewatching this, try to keep an eye on the dancer in the yellow floral dress: she's dancing way more enthusiastically and fluidly than the others, and I am enchanted!

Gotta agree, As much fun as Gargoyle is, La Polenta Taragnarok should be next!

These guys make some of the funniest stuff I’ve ever seen. And the craziest part, they take two completely bipolar things and make it WORK (like you mentioned).

I love how they react so positively to reactions, commenting and all

I don't know if you guys noticed - it's the same guys and girls in every scene! The guys are death metal on the beach, but reggaeton in the warehouse club, and vice versa for the girls. Lol. They also mirror the dances between scenes - the guys are doing the girls dance when they're in reggaeton dress. Also, the photo they burned was Varg, and I'm pretty sure the photo they pulled out was Daddy Yankee - I died laughing watching this video.

I fell in love with Nanowar when I first heard their song "Look at Two Reels" back in 2011... It doesn't have a video, but as someone who loves Rhapsody and Luca Turilli I absolutely loved the lyrics and nearly pissed myself laughing. I never knew it was possible to say someone's name so often without actually saying their name. Even if it isn't possible to make a video about it, just give the song a listen anyway because it's worth it

Good work on the Black Metal references, here's a few more I think I picked out: * The photo that was burned looks a lot like Burzum Once Emporor LP cover photo of Varg Vikernes (except the LP cover has been over-exposed/posterized) so I think it's intended to be Varg Vikernes. Being burned, LOL. There may well be a significance of the photo they pick up after too but I have no idea if so. * Darkthrone is another early and influencial Norwegian black metal band and Fenriz is one it's members. * I'm wondering if the person on the beach might be dead - Varg Vikernes was convicted of the murder of Euronymous (guitarist in Mayhem, another black metal band), arson of three churches and a few other things (attempted arson, possesing explosives). No way to be sure but that was my guess when I saw it.

in the chorus there is a play on words that those who don't know the Italian language won't understand. the word tumba resembles the Italian word tomba or where the dead are buried

How is THAT for authenticity?! \m/ And - it also shows what an unassuming fun guy Fabio really is! I won't spoil more except - do your homework on the names of Italian / Swiss / etc. cheeses... And maybe do some "real" RHAPSODY (OF FIRE) song - like "Emerald Sword" - for comparison's sake. You will swear NANOWAR (OF STEEL) nailed the style, ha!

Waking up with Y'all, Norwegian Reggaeton and coffee that sat too long and got cold. It's been a helluva a year so far, with all the things coming at me that looked horrid combining, alchemizing, and resulting in one of the best comeback stories in the history of the 3 dots by my thumb....IYKYK❤❤❤. from turning 49 in January, a manic fit-total breakdown and subsequent grippy sock 3-day vacay in February, weirder than normal anniversary with hubby in March, who got the with he's be getting laid off April, then in May, it became official, then June rent was late, also, but a local charity organization that works with veterans got us on this amazing assistance program, and are set for the next year, so we'll be able to tackle all my CC debt and get back on track within 6 months if I buckle down. All through it, you two f7cks have had me howling and squeaking with giggles, responding to my goofy comments and just... HELPING, by being. Just by existing in this reactor space, You've helped out a couple crazy folks. All you did was what you did. Just by being here, y'all helped by keeping, me, at least, somewhat sane. Than YOU for YOUR service!

I suggest you to make a powerfull digging in the story of the band and the background of the songs... There is a whole world behind any one of them. Norwegian Reggeton , for example, as been played at Spain Got Talent for a very good reason ... And a lot more of this ... If you decide to go for Polenta Taragnarock remember that the 90% of the song is a hook for something and you, saw that you're not italian speakers (even less with the "slang" of some zones of italy) should make a power work , after the watching to REALLY understand the song and the hilarity of every sentence 😉

My fav part is the dude at 7:00 not gonna lie

A little explanation on an italian word pun (the group is italian, and play with "spanish" :D) "Esta vita loca, a mirar la foca". Well, f-o-ca is seal, but f-i-ca is p*ssy, and the typical word pun is using the word "foca" instead of "fica" :D

Also the beat is sampled by an Italian commercial made by Gerry Scotti, a famous italian TV personality

"And then I Noticed She Was a Gargoyle" is probably the best "story" they put to tape... I mean, it is almost cinematic, as compared to intentionally chaotic romps that are the other videos. But it fits the music, and remains funny as hell. The NANS should truly put it up for some short movie competition, it would not do too shabbily. :D

I dunno of the 2 listed which one should be first, but another song on the list should be "vegan velociraptor". Oh and BTW find you through this vid, but I see some great reacts, so Imma check you out

Great and funny reaction - as usual. This song/video is packed with so much funny little details, it's awesome. The Manowar references at the end of the rap-part and the end of the Cranberries reference, the burning of the picture of Varg (and pulling out a picture of this Reggaeton dude) and the spanish lyrics - just to mention three of many. That's a video, you have to watch many times over and you'll always discover new easter eggs... I'd vote for "and then I noticed she was a gargoyle". I think, "Barbie - MILF princess of..." is the better song (Rhapsody of Fire is clearly visible here), but the video is not that good... "La Polenta Taragnarok" is a video for the time, you choose the turn to the Italian songs in the never ending rabbit hole of Nanowar of Steel 😂

Italian fan here, unfortunately some details are missed if you are not a native italian speaker, for two reasons. First, the original blend of english, spanish and norwegian works a lot better because spanish sounds very familiar and "straight to the brain" for us. Second, some play upon words are made having Italian in mind, for example in "a mirar la foca", "foca", literaly whale, stands for "fica" that is a vulgar words meaning "hot chicks, hot girls", so the verse has a double meaning because the literal whale reminds of the norwegian sea while the "fica" reminds of the hot girls dancing raggaeton. And there are more subtle word playing here and there, with sex references, more often than not.

la polenta taragnarok is also a great one :)
